Paris Hilton in Jail
Has anyone heard about how Paris Hilton is going to jail for 45 days? I was really surprised. Her mum said it was a waste of taxpayers money. Well if she learnt her lesson for driving without a license then i guess its alright. But have you guys seen her jail cell? and what about the reception area?? man... it's like a hotel! but the cell is pretty average looking but its still good. hehe. I imagined them to be even worse.
All I have to say is...with that nice jail cell of hers compared to the other inmates, she's probably not going to learn her lesson.

What's the point of the news ? It's nothing special, she's just an ordinary person, you don't have to be shocked by her actions. I don't see why we have to be surprised, any idiot (Including high-class people) who disobeys the law gets jailed, it's not a big deal to worry or discuss about.

You should see Jails in Japan.
I don't know if it's all the same or not, but I've seen a jail that looks great. The floors are from wood and it shines. The cells are so clean. And in Christmas, the inmates decorate the jail (even with a cristmas tree ^^). The inmates in there are not from rich famillies ect.

Actually, her lawyers asked the judge if she could upgrade to a nicer cell (by paying the difference) and he said no, she would go to the normal county jail. ^_^
I think (assuming she doesn't get out of it somehow) it is wonderful and long over due.

Actually, today I read in the newspaper that Paris and her friend have started a petition begging Ahnold to keep her out of jail. It described her as some ray of hope in this world.
And her lawyers are trying to get an acquittal from her not staying in a jail cell for 45 days.
45 days in a jail cell that's just like a hotel room, and they're trying to save her from that. Meanwhile, you have ordinary people there in not-so-nice conditions, and some are staying there for years.
With that said, she's a bit of a spoiled brat. She'll never learn her lesson. >_>

Celebrity or not celebrity, people must abide by the laws. She should be put in the normal section where traffic violators are located to show that there is no discrimination. But ah well, some people put celebrity as idols, and that's their problem.

That girl deserved more. She needs to be locked up a lot longer. The law is there for a reason and if they just toss it aside then what good is it. Just because someone is rich and famous they should not be exempt from the law that is just stupid. Paris just needs to admit that she was wrong suck it up and take her punishment. Get over it Paris, you deserve so much worse than that.
It seems the tribunal is quite "gently" when they decided Paris Hilton has to be in cell only for 45 days. She deserves to be more. Look at what she did. She could not drive in the road without her driving liscence within the speed limit btw she did that, the secons times. She's just ordinary person. She has to be in cell just like everyone and has to accept her right punishment. Sounds she hasn't wanted to be in cell because she tried to prove that she herself shouldn't be in that hell as she think. Is that means she innocent? No. Btw, it's unbelieable when the cell just like a hotel, a castle for our "little pretty princess".

Wow really? a petition? Where can you vote? I want to vote yes. As in she should go to jail for the alloted time (45 days). I don't know if she'll learn her lesson but at least she's being punished for doing the wrong things. But I've also read recently that she may even make money from going into jail. A lot of magazines are going to interview her and may even offer an exclusive for a high price to describe her ordeal in Prison. I'm sure Paris will be saying, "There was, like, no room service?" or "Like, omg, there was only one camera". haha nah i'm joking. But she's probably going to exaggerate her story though.
Oh and ~AngelHorse why does she need to be in jail for longer? Didn't she just drive without a license? Thats not a big deal to be serving more time is it? Plus taxpayers will have to pay for her stay there. Do normal people get sent to jail because they drove without a license (as in without a license thats been halted - can't use license for a set amount of time).
