I have not be able of find illustrations or good fan arts from this series (Kyatto Ninden Teyande), just a little images of merchandise, i will keep searching, if anyone knows about a gallery which have good images i'll be greatful. So i decided make some, here is the first one Polly. I take the outline from the original caracter profile page and started to give it color.

With Speedy i have lees work thanks to the white color of his armor, that is because the mid color (of the material) and the high light color is the same, white, so the only thing that left to paint was the shadow. I felt if i add a mid color and more shadows the armor will look silver and not white.

Well, here is Guido Anchovy, the third and last samurai pizza cat, it needs the same work as Pururun. i think that he never was too popular, i prefer Pururun (that's why i did her first), i don't remember his especial technique, he has three weapons: the umbrella, the katana inside the umbrella and some ninja arrow heads that he throws, like the hearts of Pururun, she has a small katana and her flute and Speedy obviously his doble katana and four edges shurikens. But they was a trio and i wouldn't be able to make a wallpaper of samurai pizza cats without the three of them.

Anyways, I really like how you colored the picture and how clean it is. Since this is a pretty old anime, I doubt that there would be many sites about it...

OMG!You just brought back memories of my Pizza Cats coloring book!But that was WAYYY back in the day.I seriously had a coloring book of them...now if I could only find it...I know its around here some where...

You lucky guy, back then i remembered not buying or even see any type of merchandise of samurai pizza cats, maybe my parents didn't take me out often, the only thing i have is memories. Neither know how the vcr works to try record the show (the first series that i record was dragon quest and saint seiya), but i was there when the show was recast (with no cable), and obtain a bad bad quality copy of some chapters.
That give me the idea of some scans of that book ; )
