I listen to anything and everything doesn't matter to me but some of my fav bands are Lost Prophets, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory. Singers are Ashanti, Usher, Alicia Keys, so on and so forth. I'm not very much into Jpop or Jrock but I do find some of Utada's and Ayumi's music quiet nice to listen to.

I listen to industrial.. electronic.. rock... anything really
It's a mixed bag. I listen to Jpop (Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, etc.), Jrock (The Pillows (Jpunk? haha), High and Mighty Color, Orange Range, TM Revolution, etc), Alternative Rock/Eletrica/Techno (Linkin Park, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Foo Fighters, etc.), and Various Kpop artists (BoA, Hyori Lee, 1TyM, etc.)
It depends how i feel and what i am doing, when i am playing it can be every thing like children of bodom or in flames wich is HeavyMetal, or i can listen to J-pop, Evanesece, and some times if im a little down HIM is nice.
But i can realy listen to everything, i do not hate any kind of music

In allmost every genre there are songs I like except for R&B, which is not my thing. My preferences are Trance, Dance, Techno and House, but most other genre's can be found in my playlist as well. As long as it sounds good I don't care what kind of music it is.

I used to listen to a lot of rock music back in the 90's since they were better than the ones we have now.
when i was introduced to anime, i found a liking to anime songs so i engaged with jpop. until now i still like anime, jpop and jrock songs.
for non-japanese music, i like jazz and church songs by Don Moen, sonic flood, jaci velasquez and other christian artists... :)
