Fated / Destiny...?
Many people believe their live were control by fated or watever related. It's like something oredi decide on the day of birth. I wanna dicuss about this since everyday I been heard complain about this...
For my self, I don't believe in any of it. In my opinoin, Fated or watever is created by our own actions. + Our lord doesn't even control us like chess or puppets, our lord just let us run our own course. Sometime people seems to complain about why somethings always happen to them, answer? It's not because of fated or watever, sometimes things just happen without reasons.
So, wat's your opinion...?

My opinion? I sort of see life...It's like one of those non-linear RPG's. You make various choices, and there are various results, but all of those choices, you see, follows a set path. I see life as something like that, only with infinite outcomes. It's not completely governed by fate, but it's not all chance and chaos, either. :)
It kinda goes both ways..some can say we practically have our life planned out for us..but others think that we controll our destiny..i believe in both..some times we cant controll what's happening to us or around us..but other times, what ever is happening is the result of our own decisions...

I don't really know. I can't control who my parents are, who I like, what the weather is.. but other than some of the major things that controls your life, most people can control they're own destiny and fate with simple decisions and changes.. or big ones... either way
I sort of believe in fate and destiny. However, I feel that you can always change the path you choose in life. You aren't forced to do anything, for anythin you do is your decision. Nobody can control your life and decide your path other than you.
I try not to think about it, Fate, Destiny. Why should I let these things control me, why should I think about them it makes no sense to me? To some it seems to justify something that they did or going to do. To others it is just two words that can make you sound a little more poetic. But what is the meaning in living if we are all puppets on a string, what is the point in having a soul if everything in are lives is planned out rite down to the very last detail. If I help someone, does that mean that it was planned. I don’t think so I do the things I do, because I want to, not because I have to. In the end I do not believe things like Destiny and Fate. I may use the words to make myself sound more poetic. If you want something bad anoff you will get it in time. It depends on you that is what I believe.
I believe we all have the power to forge our paths in this road we call life. I don't fall under the ancient Greek belief of 'destiny' where whatever we do in life is pointless in the end cause we end up living a life already pre-designed from the start. To me, life is a blessing given to you, what you do with it is up to your own will.

Yes I do believe in Fate and Destiny. I think everyone has a destiny. We are all tied in with each other. It seems so confusing, it seems like it is just random. Like right now, I think Destiny made type this post and Destiny made you question it by making you create this thread.

i think that from before the big bang the laws of physics control everything and that everything has therefore only one possible outcome, which cant be influenced nor foreseen (unless you would know the exact location and state of every particle in the whole damn world and posess a madass powerful computer to calculate the outcome)
so what im headin to is that everyones fate is set, but nobody can possibly know what hes got comin
naturally, if you never board a plane, its rather unlikely for you to die in a plane crash
whats left is something that seems like free will, but is not truly free
bottom line: f**k destiny, youll never be able to figure it out, just live your damn pitiful life the way you see fit and have fun thinkin that its you who decides - youll remain a chunk of particles dancing according to physical laws no matter what

I think like most people I believe it to a certain extent. It doesn't control every single action in life, like whether or not I pop this piece of gum in my mouth, but maybe the bigger, more meaningful things in life might be influenced by fate. Still, I don't believe it ever has absolute control. By being alive I believe we make a conscious choice of what to do with our lives. There are always people who choose to fight against it, just like how people fight against what is natural, and that will change things. But of course everything has consequences.

Sure it's so unclear the existance of fate itself. ^^ Theoritically, everything that we've done is all related with our fate. So, either we've done good or bad, all of them is our fate. ^^ And because of this thing, I think that fate is as same as our decission on the alternatives in our life. ^^

I'm a Christian so I believe that the lord had my fate planned out from the beginning... However, it does say that we can mess it up if we don't follow his law... The only thing left for those who don't recieve god's love is the anger/wrath of god...
