Aren't characters in shows, movies, anime extremely lucky to have their own theme music? In times of suspense, determination, anger, love, etc...for every moment of intense emotion or beginning or ending sequence unique to them is their own song. Even cd tracks and solo songs are made for them!

The topic hit me while me while watching a rather comical episode of Family Guy in which he asked a magical genie to grant him his own theme music and with every movement he made, a song played.

Would you want your own theme music to play wherever you went and every action or moment in your everyday life? And yes, this is assuming people around you can hear it as well. What songs, rythems, beats would be attributed to your everyday habits? A relaxing song while your driving? or maybe one of competition and resentment? A tense, pacing short when your approaching your boy/girlfriend cause you did something wrong? A comical trance while your on the can?

Cool or irritating after a while? And assuming you could turn it on and off, majority of your life would you use it or just at certain times when you feel like it?

People going through puberty/midlife crisis/enlightenment would then have to change their theme songs... Is that allowed? >_>

Uh no, I don't think I can have just one song describe me, seeing as I shown signs of multiple personalities and short attention span.

The first song that popped into my head to be my BG song was the "One Winged Angel" song (Sephiroth's theme from FF7 Advent Children) or even ones from Phantom of the Opera... -_-

See, I won't be allowed to go into Disney Land if Phantom of the Opera songs are following me... I might scare the children...

And BG music in general- I like my peace and quiet at times. What's the movie where this guy's life was being narrated? How annoying is that? Music also heightens the mood. I don't need scary/distressing music to make the situations worse... So I think I'll skip.

My own theme music huh?... I don't know if that would work cause i'm imagining that now. See I'm in a black college and I listen to rock music. I go to sit down with my boys at the caff and all of a sudden the beginnig of headfirst for halos, by my chemical romance begins to play, and they all start lookin around like where the #@*& is that commin from?! the music fades and im like sorry guys. I know it would get on my moms nerves cause I would play that darth vader from starwars music when ever she came near me. I tend to fall in love with every girl I meet so the dramatic violin music would play while i'm just saying hi. theme music would give away all of my intentions. I can't pull off anything sneaky with dastardly villan music playing the whole time. I wonder if that goes for sound effects too like hearing a blood curtling scream when ever I see an ugly baby. how can i lie to the parents after they hear that? It would be good for giving me music to go with my victory dances. I just passed an exam and we are the champions by the queens would start to play and you see me running down the halls and out of the building to the music... that stops abruptly as i am getting arrested by campus security. Den Dunt Den! I'd go to far with it i'd even have an anouncer. Announcer: Oh no folks Chirs just go arrested sfx:dramatic organ Anncr: Will he ever go home agian?-dramatic organ-Anncr: will he make a special friend in jail!?-dramtic organ rift Anncr: stay tuned for the next episode of Crazy College Boy!. And the whole time the cop and the spectators are lookin around bewildered whille i'm screaming that i didn't agree to that sucky title ...I can hear theme music now, ha i just finnished posting and now I got more papers(go shorty it's ya birthday) i cabbage patch and my roomate ask that as long i live to never do that again. but i'll do it again anyway ,when he's not looking! Muh hu ha ha ha ha ha haaa!! Den Dunt Den!!

I'd like to have one that would scare the crap out of someone when there in front of me or somethin. Like a giant big, Bang!! Maybe a likin Park lyric. ^_^

Man, I have too many fave songs... XD But if I could have me own theme song, I'd like something that sounded sorta like "Salva Nos" from Noir, or GitS's "Inner Universe" or "Rise", or "Stray" from Wolf's Rain...I love those songs. :D

Ohh, I would love having my own theme music play for me. I would have to be able to turn it off and control the volume though. Otherwise, it would irritate neighbors and people would always be able to figure out what I was doing depending on the music they heard, which could be awkward for some things...

But, yeah. I would love to have NIN's "Ruiner" play for me whenever I was ready to flip out, or maybe Drowning Pools "Bodies" Eh? Who's not gonna be a little freaked if they're out on the street and get in a fight with a dude who can summon music from nowhere? "Give me something to Break" Would have to be on my list too...

Hmmmm.... well, not really. Because, it would be kinda freaky imo... i mean, c'mon... just imagine... you are about to go head to head with some guy (like a hero fight or something...) and suddenly... music starts playing!! Man... i would immediately begin to look around and like... OMG!! WTF?? Where is this music coming from?? XD XD

But well, if i could control it. Maybe... maybe i would like to have it at times. It does give a good effect in the animes and stuff. So, maybe... mostly i would like to have instrumental stuff. But i would also like the song by The Offspring tittled "Gone Away" and another one by Poets of the Fall tittled "Late Goodbye" (<--Yes, from Max Payne 2 :P)

And a few more...
