Shinigamis everywhere
With quite a few shinigamis running around out there. I was wondering who is your favourite and from what anime? For me it's Ryuk from Death Note. Other than the fact that he is cool, I can't help but like his character because of the way he finds everything amusing and his detached attitude. Plus I think he's the closest to what I think a real death god would be like. So what's your opinion?

Ryuk is definitely the most sexiest one though. LMAO Probably the more realistic one as well, since there would be no culture clash (Bleach's Shinigamis are dressed for Japan)- as realistic as fiction could get for me. ^^
As for my personal favorite, I have a hard time deciding which boys are cuter cooler from each series...

I have to say i like the shinigamis in bleach the best. The shinigamis in deathnote are just bored grim reapers (could be wrong since i do not really watch deathnote just heard of it), and by the way does the shinsengumi from rurouni kenshin sound like shinigami? Just wondering if some of the japanese characters are the same.

My shinigami favorite is Rukia she is the best...nobody is the best shinigami more wat rukia...thanks a she know the shinigamis...the second is Renji i love renji is the shinigami more sexi all the shinigamis...jajaja the tatu is xxx.

I really like the character designs for the shinigamis in Death Note. Although they didn't look like your average shinigami from Bleach, their attention to detail is superior. However, neither Ryuk nor Rem are as appealing as Yachiru to me. She's a badass =P
I like Zaraki fom bleach the best of all the shinigamis. He is an honorable warrior that loves fighting. And he is a little crazy and that suites me fine :P
I've seen the theme pop up in a few series but I have to agree with the OP... Ryuk from Death Note is probably my favorite. That little chuckle he lets out every so often is priceless.
With all my respact for bleach, I don't think about the shinigami as death gods, because it just doesn't fit. and the only other anime I know with death gods is death note. rem and ryuk are the only ones worth mentioning, and rem

I like Urahara Kisuke from Bleach. One of the most mysterious characters in bleach and definitely one of the strongest. At moments he could be serious then comical the next.
I like Hisagi Shuuhei from Bleach and Rem from Death Note.

The invincible Zaraki kenpatchi reminds me of Ken's brother from fist of the north star, and goku mix with vegetta sort of, always wanting more power, hes not crazy he just loves fighting too much hes obsessed with power and fighting, that makes him the deadliest and strongest of all , without bankai he matched ichigo's power full on and was last man standin too ;) nothing but respect for the big stamina invincible warriors, where he could of killed his opponent if he wanted to.
