Well I have been experimenting with wallpaper making for three years now and I have gotten this far, what does eveyone think?

Seems kinda simple and not liking the outter glow thing. Also the text font is confusing... Why would Shinn say that again? lol ^^;

I haven't seen Gundam seed destiny yet. I usually give out sayings that would go with the feel of the wallpaper. Oh well....

The effect that you use effects the quality of the wallpaper with the lines and stuff well i like you words but maybe change the font type ?

is it night or what? ...in the wall i mean...
if it's night, reduce the brightness of the guy and experiment with shadows and lighting...
and add some water effect on the guy...

the sky doesnt look so real... too many clouds... the further part of the sky should be darker...
and i dont think the grass should be glowing... it seems a little bit out...
try adding something to the bg... it's too empty...
maybe a house? hill? trees? i dont know... but if you were to add, make sure it's dark enough...

maybe you should change the font? it's not really easy on the eyes... like puppychow16 said, it's confusing...

anyway, it's a nice wall...

I have a couple of things to point out in this wall. Most of them are very common problems in walls. First off, the Clouds filter does NOT look like a real sky. Use the filter sparingly, and if you do use it, the end result should not be obvious that clouds was used at all... Secondly, I'd lose the glow of Shinn and the grass... the glow does nothing, and instead of piecing everything together, makes each piece separate of each other.

Another thing that I'm pretty sure someone else would mention is 'That grass is pretty tall'. Grass could be a nice touch to a wall, but in your case, it goes all the way up to his waist or above... which is pretty weird.

Colours. Usually, if you're making a wall, you'd want to make it all fit together and looks like each piece belongs in to it. That said, colours are a great way to do this. By the looks of your wall, it seems to be a bit dark/gloomy considering the sky's colours and grass. A thing you could do to make everything else as dark/gloomy would probably be changing some hues to being more blue, turn down the saturation a bit, especailly on the grass.

Lastly, the rain. I guess the rain looks okay, but to make it seem like rain instead of just... motioned blur stuff, add couple of droplets bouncing OFF Shinn or something, to show that it is indeed real water/rain and not just some rain-like thing applied over top.

Maybe a different backgroudn would fit the image better. Just my opinion.
