To anyone that has seen Adven Children. This movie is a masterpiece to all of Finaly Fantasy and Square Enix. This Movie has really pulled it off with this movie. Compared to Spirits Within, I didn't think it would be as dull as the last one. But this one, continues off from the ending of FF VII 2 years later. This Movie is the GREATEST ANiME MOViE I've seen so far. Anyone disagree or agree? Please do step into this topic.

FFVII Advent Children is way better that FFSW. FFVII AC is so good that they are not even on a comparing level.

When FF SW was released in the movies, i went and watch it. Having high expectation for it but it turn out to be a complete NOT Final Fantasy at all. It didn't have that final fantasy feeling that FF suppose to give, which i really hate. Because it make people around the world who didn't know about FF thinks that FF actually is this bad/crap. Because for FF fans, when playing FF games, you get this feeling that we really love. That is what FF so special.

The animation level: FFSW was more toward realistic style which was okay. But it wasn't really my type. But final fantasy VII advent children animation style is the one i love. Realistic but still have that anime-ish look to it. So beautiful.

The story: Advent children was way better.

Sound: Ofcourse Advent children.

So like I said before, they are not even on the comparing level.

This is also the greatest movie I have seen so far. FF VII Advent Children.

Definitely better than the Spirits Within in every aspect. Besides, everyone who is a Final Fantasy fan anticipated it and so much hype about this movie was evident. FF7AC is the best FF movie out there as of now. Period.

Of course - it is better than Spirits Within. When you talk about Final Fantasy, you will think with some actions and like the game. However, Spirits Within does not have anything similar with the games. Totally agree - FFVII is an anime with different level.
When I look at the graphic, I was like WOW. The graphic is so good. The sound effect is great. When you look at all the action in this movie, it was great. One of the part i like is when Tifa fights. The way she jumps on that door...Matrix...god...you have to copy her moves.
I wish my house has a HDTV or some sound system, that will be perfect to watch this anime.

PS. Please don't tell me they will dub this movie. If they do, please do it with an international level. Don't do like what they do with the normal anime.

This movie was so awesome. I've watched it like 4 or 5 times now and I still love it. Every time one of my friends wants to watch it, I can't help but want to watch it again with them.

This film is really splendid, the realisator delivers here a film of exception to us which for those which have to appreciate Final Fantasy VII will not be disappointed. One finds all the characters of the game, the scenes of fight are imposing.

Now, it is true that the film is a little short 90 mn it is little for a film as that where dévelop would have been needed a little more the history.

However that remains a splendid film

I agree. I almost felt like I was playing Final Fantasy and watching a really good anime at the same time. I noticed that they focused a lot on Cloud and not so much on the other characters. But this makes sense to me. It's only a movie and it's almost impossible to develop all of the characters, so focusing on one makes sense.

About playing the games first. I felt that one need some prior knowledge of Final Fantasy to truely appreciate it. But I found myself understanding things that I wouldn't have thought possible. (Perhaps it was in the way that is was presented but I never really felt lost in that movie.) It was great!

Err I have a lot of work so I'll hold back on watching it 4 to five times. However when my friends get the DVD I'll definetly re-watch it with them.

The graphics were amazing, and the effects and music were all great. The story however, was horrible. Even if you are familiar with the game, the storyline was still really confusing and not put togather very well at all. The movie was more like a really long CG'd fancy fight scene. This would have crashed and burned worse than spirits within in US theaters cause fo the story sucking so bad. It was fun to watch for the graphics though.

i've seen the movie like alot and i'm stilled amazed by it, it is alot better than FF:SW, FF7:AC has great graphics and after watching the characters, i've the only one i laughed at the most was Reno, he keeps hitting people like Rude, but its still the best movie, and the music was great, i still like the "One Winged Angel" music theme for sephiroth.

Of course it was better than Spirits Within. SW had great animation, but that was pretty much it. I think the CG in SW was better than AC though. They didn't really look REAL in AC. At any rate, AC was still a good movie, and it was fun seeing Cloud and the rest in CG.

Honestly, if it wasn't in the title, you wouldn't be able to tell that TSW was Final Fantasy. Atleast, that's how I felt about it when I watched it couple years back.

That said, I thought Advent Children was UBER. I'm a sucker for beautiful CG and amazing fights, and it definitely delivers. I never played FF7, although I did watch my brother play for a bit when it first came out. I don't have a HUGE understanding and knowledge of FF7, but the movie was still very enjoyable... very much so. Among my favourite scenes, the 'teamwork' scene was pretty interesting; everyone helping to propel Cloud up in the air... XD The 'all-range-attack' </gundamnerd> at the end was pretty damn cool too.

My only complaints would be the voices... I think most of the voices were pretty bad, especially Cloud's. I dunno why, but he is unable to portray any emotions... pretty monotone-ish. <_< Or his personality is like that? ...in which case, I don't like his personality. XD

The animation was beautiful, the only problem I could see was with facial expressions... it seemed that Tifa's expression was pretty relaxed, even in the fight at the church. >_>

The movie aside, zOMG Tifa is hot. >_> Hell, everyone is hawt. The girls are hawt, the guys are hawt, even the kids are hawt. ...maybe too hawt. <_<

Could is the sex, without a doubt. One of the best movie's I've seen my entire life.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is the greatest action movie I have ever seen in my life... It's also the greatest movie based on a video game out there. I really like the CG graphics and animation as well as the ridiculously insane fight scenes. The Spirits Within was a complete and utter let down. I'm glad that the people at Square Enix repented by giving us this godsend of a movie. I am definitely going to buy this when it comes out. I'll also need to buy FFVII since, even though I did play through the game, the game wasn't mine. Advent Children reminded me how awesome FFVII is, even if it is eight years old.

I really liked the movie... I don't know... somewhere I heard it was like a 15 minute movie thing, so I was a bit dissappointed cause I thought it'd be 15 minutes, but DAMN!! the movie was soo good!! hahahhaa ^_^

FFVII is by far the best of all the final fantasy's I think
