Ghost in the Shell- 3rd gig? *spoilers*
Ok, so I just finally finished 2nd gig (my own viewing, obviously not Adult Swim viewing because I can't stand the dub) and was somewhat relieved that the show didn't wrap up nice and neat (
So, what do you think? Should they continue it on, or end it on a high note with 2nd gig?
SPOILER (click to view)). Quick googling shows that rumors have already been flying around that they're currently working on either a 3rd gig or a 3rd movie. I would think that the 3rd run of the tv series is more viable, since the storyline of the movie is kind of backed into a corner moreso than the series.

LoL Ok I haven't finished the 2nd Gig yet...working my way through it. But I don't mind spoilers so I always read stuff like this. LoL
I really do hope they continue it on with the 3rd Gig, its a great series in a world that I become more fond of everytime they release a new show from it. I just adore Section Nine, in fact theres not a single member of that team who I wouldn't watch with a smile on my face. Ok I adore the Major the most of course, but who doesn't? LoL
Aww I'm gonna miss the Tachikomas...they were just so cute...you know for combat tanks. =)

A 3rd gig is highly possible.. Heck, I could see Ghost in the Shell continuing on even further than three seasons and still go nicely.

Awesome! i've only watched 1st gig so far and loved it! im waiting for all of 2nd gig to come out on dvd so i can watch all of it in one go :D

Well for those of you who haven't finished/watched 2nd gig... it won't let you down, that's for sure! Another 8 or 9 episodes that mess you up and seem to only last 5 minutes when you're watching them, making you really really anxious for the next one. They're so good at that.

Woohoo! more Ghost in the Shell goodness. I really like the GitS series and would be ecstatic if they were to continue it. More Motoko and the rest of Section 9 is always a good thing.

If they make a thrid gig i would probably be hospitalized for heart failur as i explode in me pantalones caus gits is one of my favorite series ever

I cross my fingers and I do hope the quality will remain the same as the first two series (better than the second hopefully, which had some oddly animated episodes here and there).

So sweet. I wasn't ready for it to end, so I'm so glad it's going to continue! If it's even half as good as the last two seasons it will still be a superior anime.

Kinda boring. Well I guess your entitled to your own opinion. My friends and I had a discussion about 1st Gig and we actually labelled it as a "smart" show. Now, I don't mean to offend you, shadowxiong, but I suppose some people wouldn't like these kinds of shows because of that.
