Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I look at all the wall's here and I have checked out the scans here but there are so many pictures used in people's wall's that I wonder, where does everyone get there sources?!? I mean I have searched High and Low for good scans and I can only find a few places on the net that has them. So where do you get them? :faint:

I get a lot of the stuff I wall from artbooks and magazine scans I find online. The scans I place up here usually come from images I scan myself from magazines and promotional material (posters, inserts, DVD covers, etc).

HM... sometimes, weekly magazines are a good source for scans, too.

I got some material I'd like to upload to AP, but I haven't done it yet <!--emo&^_^--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Since i can't buy any artbooks and can't find any magazines i usually just browse around the internet. Places like Animepaper and Random satisfy my needs.

I get images from magazines such as 'Megami' ;

'Megami' has many pictures to scan.

Art books, magazines (and their inserts, posters, booklets, etc), calendars, shitajiki/pencil boards, clear files, posters, and basically anything else scannabl. It does get expensive, and often will mess up art books (bending the spines). Larger items are annoying, basically piecing together multiple scans can get time consuming.

It;s all about going to as many sources as possible. I've found getting my own scanner really opened up a lot of new material for me to work with.

I use magazines, dvd covers, and scans i find online.
i don't use my artbooks, because i pay a lot for most of them and don't wanna ruin them (especially my X one x_x)
if you have a program like edonkey or kazaa or sometimes even BT, you can download artbook scans and megami and newtype scans as well by issue. You have to peice them together and fix them up yourself, but at least you don't ruin your books.
