I've done some weird things in class to keep me from going to sleep. Although I usually end up sleeping during lecture... I usually start doodling in my notebook. Its filled with random sketches and things in the columns. For the longest time in high school, I would draw on my whole arm. I would literally cover my left arm with ink designs. Mostly black or blue, or a mix of both. Red ink when I found one. My math teacher thought I was a gangster for the longest time!

What do you guys do to keep yourself alive through class?

Hehehehe, I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes classes at Uni are a drag...so boring that you can't help falling asleep. I guess I just start playing tic-tac-toe or connect four with a friend in our notebook. Sometimes instead we'd just say some random jokes or comments which would make our whole section burst out laughing...then there would be that awkward silence as the professor would look at us then continue with the lecture. I used to draw in my book, random stuff, but the classes are such a brain killer that I can't think of what to draw at all XD

I draw stuff, drawings as complicated as I can make them just so that I don't start talking. XD Well, OK, sometimes I end up talking, anyway.
Best course of action is to write random stuff, like poetry or whatever comes to your mind - there's a good chance your teacher will think you're taking down notes. :P Of course, it never hurts to actually take down notes, either. Or - when worst comes to worst - study, though that just might put you back to sleep, too. o_O

If I happen to have my college's daily newspaper with me, I'll do the Sudoku and New York Times Crossword when I'm bored in class. If I don't have the newspaper, or I've finished/given up on Sudoku and the crossword puzzle, I'll start writing short stories.

I went to sleep all through my high school. Uh...I couldn't think of anything to keep myself from boredom. Unless it was listening to my iPod. Then I would fall asleep, lol. It actually wasn't because I was bored really. I was juggling a job and school. I really needed the money. But when I was in junior high I would like to doodle alot.

Really all I do is start thing about anime and manga, or wow, or dota...lol...Most of the time I just get all my work done and sit down doing nothing and think about what VG I will play when I get home. Other then that it is all good...

Good thing I'm a real quick learner. Generally I listen once to the teacher and I got it all in my head. Thing is, the teacher has the habit of giving *extra* stuff which he thinks is helpful, which in the end only confuses us XD

I would have to say the same, I look at what he will do only 1-2 times real fast then I just look at my book or notebook making it look like I am really doing something but I am really just thinking of anime...lol...

Hey, if you need help looking for a good anime just ask me, I just look at alot of anime titles and look at like 1 ep just to see what it is, and if yo udo not mind could you tell me your Fav anime's that you have seen...And yes, when they are over I will have so much time for anime...Love it...

I just listen to meh Ipod :D I gotta perfect way to do it too @~1@ But it might require longish hair lol >.>

I ussually wear my hoodie so I can put my Ipod in teh pocket part of my jacket and get the earphone part up through my arm sleeve and into my ears then my hair covers the rest xD Then I gotta sit with my arm holding up my head so that the part where the earphone comes out of my sleeve can reach and plus if I didn't then umm.. I'll sorta have a wire comin outta my sleeve into my ear that will be really noticeableO_O That's what I do anyways ^^

Sounds pretty good, but I have short hair so It is a no way for me...lol...Just make sure you do not get seen with it...lol...
