This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Games or Anime?

This question gets into my mind every once in a while and I tend to fluctuate around it. I suppose it's because whenever I manage to make free time for myself at home, I decide on which one I want to do.

AS I post this, I'm going to try to lean towards one of them from now on. So I guess I can live without anime but I can't live without my games.

Since you are in a Video Game area of a anime-ish site, you must like both as well. So what would you rather have if you can only have anime or games?

Thanks for the read and even more for an input.

I suppose I would have to choose anime. When I buy games I can usually only stand to play them for a little while and then I get bored with them. With anime though, there are new dvd's to buy or new episodes to download and thats what keeps me going when I watch the stuff, the idea is that it's still going, still new and will probably take a lot of time to finish up. Now don't get me wrong, most games are the same way, i.e. rpg's, but I just can't force myself into playing games for a long period of time, they just don't interest me as much as anime does.

I can't live without both...

Both anime and games are my most important hobies. I game and watch anime practically everyday, it's inevitable, it's what keeps me going :P

LOL - Tough question. Anime is great and so are games. It all depends on how much anime and how many games are allowed! If there were fewer games and more anime I'd probably go for games - more of a social aspect. You can't beat four player Zelda ^_^

Good point. I suppose what you have right now for each would suffice- and which would you rather go for (if you can only pick one) during your spare time?
Never played 4 player zelda, but I have done 4 player kirby:amazing mirror. good times.

Well, usually I do have to choose because it is a time issue(only so much free time :( ). Sometimes it's anime and sometimes it's games. Anime is more social for me because I usually watch it with friends and I tend to play games by myself when I do play(that's the bad part about liking RPGs). Of course that's not always true, either way. If I absolutely had to choose I would pick anime. For the same reason as terraforce5000, it keeps my interest longer and there is always some thing new

I guess it depends how much time i got to waste. I can play games for hours cuz the save point is far off but on anime i can watch an entire series in a day if i got the time. Though if theres nothing to watch I play the game and if I get stuck on the game, I'll leave it till later.

Both, when my husband's playing the game system I watch anime. Then we switch off so I can play games while he watches anime. So it all works out. 8)

I used to be a big gamer, but then I started watching anime and now I don't game at all really..

so I guess my choice at the moment would be anime

Can't live without either. I need them both... It's like a drug addiction. The problem is i don't have enough time for both so i just do it in waves like next 2 or 3 days i play games and then go to wathing and then back.. and so on and on and on.
I know one day i will have to quit but for now i'm stuck with the both of these manias. ;-)

Definitely games. I stopped watching anime well over a year ago purely because I grew out of it. I just adore making wallpapers and the like, hence why I'm here. But I'd without a doubt, choose games over anime even though one day I'll probably grow out of games, too.

I like the both, when the games becoming boring I watch anime, and when the anime becomes boring, I play games... both are complementary
