I was just wondering what everyone thought about Nanoha and it's successor, Nanoha A? At first, I didn't think it anything special, and I would normally have just lost interest and stopped watching, but...Raging Heart kept me going. I just found the idea of Raging Heart something that was awesome. And I'm glad I continued watching it, it's become one of my favorite animes, but I think it didn't start to kick off until Fate showed up. And the opening songs it has are some of my favorites. :)

Nanoha A, I've seen up to Ep 3 subbed and ep 5 raw, but from what it's looking like, it's shaping up to be as good as it's predecessor, and I particularly love the opening theme. I love Fate! I heard that the Seiyuu for Fate also did the songs in the show (Nana Mizuki is the name).

Where would I start...

Nanoha = instant win. That's the basic assumption here. Loved the first "season" and loving the second one, maybe even more (we'll see). If you look the concept carefully you can see many revolutionary innovations and very skillfully constructed plot with a...*ahem* (got carried away there). If I could hold my inner Nanoha-fan in check, I would say that I like the series because there is some good characters (Fate!!), interesting world and plot which is much above the average Magical Girl -anime (imo). And very interesting weaponry (Scythe form! Set up!).

...but because I can't keep my inner Nanoha-fan in check, I just say: gotta love the berserker gosurori mahou shoujo and her german-speaking warhammer. (And as I said in other thread before: I love when they use title generator) :)

I have the whole first season and am currently torrenting A's <3 emoticon Haha .__. My username gives you some hints about my MSLN obsession xD Seriously, this is one of the best mahou shoujo animes I've ever seen. The art style is lovely and unique. Yuuno-kun is love <3 emoticon And so is Chrono! <3 emoticon Nanoha is just adorable and Fate rocks :O Warhammer = Graf Eisen <3 emoticon Love the name and I love Vita :O She's got a temper, yesh? Signum is cool too. She's so nice and she's an awesome fighter *w* Molesting kitties... *twitch* -.O

I also watched Triangle Hearts which is what MSLN is based off of. It was good to watch since it involved the whole Takamachi family and then some. I love the new attacks and modes for this season like Axel Shooter, Plasma Lancer, and Blitz Rush :3 Just pure awesomeness and people should watch it O_O There's a bit of fanservice in there though like the transformations and episode 5 of season one *twitch* That was major perverted xD

I loved the show, though as I said, in the beginning of season one, I wasn't really into it and the only thing that kept me watching was Raging Heart. :D What I love most about Nanoha is that, for a magical girl series, it doesn't drag episodes. Every episode has a point. You just don't get random battles that mean nothing in the overall scheme of things. That's why there's only thirteen episodes. And while I'm sad it's so short, if the alternative is a 70-episode show with 90% filler, I'd take the thirteen.

Fate-chan, Fate-chan, FATE-CHAN! That's all I gotta say about that :) I love how Nanoha says Fate-chan. Fate-o-chan! It's adorable!! Everybody is so cool and cute! Does anyone know if this is based on a manga? Or if there is a manga?

Megami Magazine has the manga version I believe. But all I know is that it's based of Triangle Hearts. I think the manga was made after the anime.

When Nanoha says Fate-chan, that's how you say Fate in Japanese. (Pronounciation: Fay-to) Fate is also known as Fayt, but I always prefer Fate <3 emoticon Nanoha calls everyone she meets (except for boys) with the "chan" honorific. It's really cute. Like in the 2nd season in episode 5, Nanoha just met Vita and she's already calling her Vita-chan. x3

^^ It's adorable. Anyway, can anyone recommend any good fan-sites about Nanoha? :/ I can't seem to find any about the show, no Shrines or anything. Which seems a very horrible oversight, considering there are Shrines about knitting on the internet!

Love the show, particularly Fate and the magical weapons. Those quirky German voices, they're awesome, particularly Graf Eisen. But I prefer Bardiche; the scythe form does it all for me. It's been a long while since a Mahou Shoujo genre show could keep my attention and make me continue watching :D

Im like a hardcore shonen fan but I tried this one out now I can't what for the subs to come out faster. The Velka0type Knights are awesome. Does anyone if there is as much action in the MGLN as the 2nd one. OH and was Fate-chan bad in the first one I don't care if you spoil it for me.

Omiane, you heretic! It's not ok to spoil the plot. And why in the first place you started to watch the second season before the first one. Can't understand modern youth. ;)

And if I must compare 1st and 2nd, I would say that 2nd seems to be better if you want epic battles and great feelings, can't say anything about the plot yet (but yes, there is much action in the first one also). But Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, so first or second...I love them both.
