[Anime Discussion] Karin
I'm still on episode 10 on this one but i already have up to 13 and i'm currently downloading 13.
i'm watching the Anime-Shrine, [ASH] versions since that's where i started. though the groups kinda very slow but the quality of the video is superb and the translation is quite more accurate that their co-fansubbers.
as for the anime, i definitely love this title. and talk about "reversed-vampire" as implied by Dias plus the idea of a different type of vampire species (not exactly different, but they are the type that can help people), it's what i mentioned in the MFG thread: it's very original.
i also agree with dias about the nosebleeding. it sure is hilarious. as well as with the opening theme nosebleeds, it goes quite well with the music.
now that i mention music, the bgm's are not that quite impacting but it sure fits the story. but putting that aside, i very much like BRACE;d's "scarlet"... i liked it so much, i bought the single album through my uncle in japan =)

And I'm so happy about it! :)
I think Karin is a nice comedy which is entertaining to watch after a rough day. However the last few episodes were a little strange for me, their mood differed from the former episodes, or something like that. But I love the characters, they are all so cute! :D Only Winner-kun's voice annoys me a little. For the first time it was so funny I couldn't stop laughing whenever he appeared, but now I'm starting to get tired of it.

Well I guess the change of "mood" is part of the story from the change of "help" to "love" so I guess it is an understandable change. Winner on the other hand, I guess he is "supposed" to be annoying as a sense of getting in the way between the 2 main characters. His voice is funny though, kinda gives you the sense of his bad handling of the japanses language so in a sense it is "right at home" within the character.

hehe, i guess that's how the japanese put non-asian foreign race in anime (they're kinda like being racists at some extent). this is also evident in other anime titles like Yakitake Japan (that guy who's good at making yakisoba-pan, S.H. Hokou).
i finally got a hold of episodes 11-13 and it appears that the story is getting more serious, which makes me look forward to the next episodes... XD

So many questions that appear after every episode. I wonder if Kenta is in love with Karin? Don't really know, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Too bad I'm an impatient person, I'm so amxious to see what's going to happen.

I have checked out Karin...for a vampire that will increase bloody..is pretty funny...and some relationships is going to develop soon :p...i only got the 1st episode:/

you know the answer. anyway, I am thinking of buying it, but actually, after reevaluating the whole thing, I find it was nothing much, I don't see a lot of depth in it. Fact is, a vampire who spews blood, a girl who nosebleeds and high school drama comedy, plain and slapsticky kinda story.
However...Karin's presence is the only thing that is attracting me to it.

Agree with you 100% on that. It was so funny! I was cracking up! I never knew Anju could be that jealous and the way her mom cooks is just a barrel of laughs along with her cooking. I wonder how that food tasted. Probably horrible, even though it looks good. ^_^

When I saw the manga first,I think it would become anime.
Howeve, I feel the anime has too sexy service when I saw some episode of anime.

The characters are interesting, although I don't like the guy in it. His eyes are just really weird. The story's certainly interesting, if a little unpredictable. Certainly not my favourite anime, but certainly not the worst one I've watched! I'll watch it all way through I think and base a better judgement upon that.
I really liked it, haven't read the manga yet, but a lot of people has told me that is very good to, i higlhy recommend we suck fan subs, I tried a.f.k. but is not that good
I know, We Suck fansubs is much better for Karin, but a.f.k. is a lot faster now even though it's not as good and if your the impatient type like myself I just dowmload the one that's out first.
Episode 16 was soo sad! I can't believed what happened in the end.
