Now this is just a rumor but it would be awsome if they did.
The rumor is that capcom wants to get in on the Disney thing like Kingdom Hearts but only with
"It's a Wonderful World".
If this goes though and its not just a rumor than this will put characters like Megaman, Dante, Veiwtiful Joe, and the list goes on and on
Putting characters like this in Kingdom Hearts will be awsome.
Your thoughts :-D

I don't know... I prefer is Capcom stood alone as a whole. I mean look at Square-Enix. They have not produced any game that's GROUNDBREAKING and it's been about 3 - 4 years now... I'm very critical with my games. Final Fantasy XII isnt great especially through the previews and hype of it. I was disappointed with it. Children of Mana.. HORRENDOUS, it's so damn repetitive. No move list, no towns, WTH!! They were better companies when they were solo. Squaresoft had freakin' Einhander, Final Fantasy 9 and Tactics (PS1), and such. Enix had Dragon Quest, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Valkyrie Profile (PS1), and such. They were WAY BETTER companies when solo.
You do have a good point when they were solo they had some better stuff but now they're all coming to gather
but when you think about it may be good because Square has the graphics and Capcom has the game play

Hmmm not a bad notion but even if they do combine i think they would have to make a brand new game supporting square and capcoms characters and allowinging them to be how they were origionally like street fighter character... no offense kingdom hearts is good but before i played i used to despise the fact that " Disney" was in it with their childish charaters the only thing held me on was the cool new chartecters (sora, riku, kairi) and a chance to see my old favs of ff in action!

Bright2, Capcom is fully capable with full motion video graphics on their own. Play Onimusha 3 and Dawn of Dreams and you'll know.
Ever since Square Enix have formed, the FF games are starting get worse.
If there is one thing Capcom should be trying to make, is a cool Ninja stealth action game(With lots of blood & Gore). Maybe they should just ditch Square Enix and get Kojima Productions involved too.

Do you have the source of where this rumor information came from? I dunno, i'm just curious about it and would like to read it for myself.
As for the notion of them getting together, um, I just feel that Square-Enix and Capcom are two totally and completely different companies which have different objectives and goals that they percieve for the world of gaming. If you look at the type of games that come out from each producer, you can already tell from there. Personally, I'd find it to be kinda weird seeing Megaman and Sephiroth battling it out.
I also do agree that since Squaresoft became Square-Enix, the games, specfically with the Final Fantasy series, haven't been as prestigious and explosive as they were back in the day. But then again, you have to remember that back in the day, it was easier to make revolutionary type of games like Final Fantasy VII and Valkyrie Profile (PSI) because those types of games just weren't out there yet.
With the advent of these next-gen systems, in a couple of years however, I can guarantee that the feeling of explosive and phenomenal games will come back with the capabilities that these new systems can provide game companies and producers.
Hehe, sorry, got a little off topic. ^_^

How cool would it be id say much better than disney characters, id rather see resident evil players in a fantasy lol or i could imagine square characters in resident evil storyline wow sliceing zombies up with fantasy weapons cool
edit- oh duh its square enix well i guess you can still have ff characters in resident evil world, but valkyrie profile would be cool too to have lenneth in resident evil world saying something like your sins lay heavy upon you, and do some divine slash on those zombies, like how many people fantasised about multislashing those zombies when you ran out of bullets lol

Hmm I liked Squaresoft and Enix as individual companies and when they merged I was a little disappointed. And being the hardcore Megaman fan, I not sure if I would approve of Capcom and Square-Enix merging.

I agree with vindemon64. Their video game styles are so different, and it'd be odd seeing the two merge together.

(may be deleted) that link should work
Mega VS Sephiroth in the middle of the battle Leon Kenndy will jump in and kill them all :-)
Final Fantasy has gone down the tube because of Enix I agree

Not sure if Capcom would like to do company crossovers unless it was a fighting game. Outside of their awesome VS series (i.e. Marvel vs Capcom and Capcom vs SNK) there has been only one crossover game (that I know of). That is Namco X Capcom. Although a good game, I hear it did horribly even in Japan.

Yeah, its a good game, with great ideas like Multiple assaut...
But it gets boring after some missions...

Well, personaly I would have liked it if they teamed up for dirge of cerberus. Imagine if Dirge played like RE4 or even better, devil may cry? But that didnt happen and devil may cry sucked because square doesnt know how to make good non-rpgs *shrug*
I wouldn't mind so much if they made a game together, but not join companaies like Square-Enix. Although there may be different strengths and weaknesses for a joined company it would really kille company competition which would make games longer to release.
