So a small japanese guy creates a Robot which is to imitate Gundam. Wow, if the project evers gets further, we're going to be screwed...

Not really, I've seen the videos, it doesn't even lift its legs to walk, it just shuffles over the ground. Honda and their P3 and Asimo robots are much further ahead. Honestly, if this thing can't run at least the speed of a HUMVEE, then it's useless. The bigger you make something, the more easily it can be taken out. Smaller is better, and if it stays smaller than a tank, it can operate in urban areas, and maybe be effective depending on how its handled. But even in MOUT, infantry rules.

It's cool he made it himself and everything, but the thing weighs 1 ton which can be difficult for maneveur sometimes. I saw the video at his website. Maybe if he had put in wheels under the feet, it would glide instead of shuffle over the ground. It moves really slow, every time one of its legs shuffle across the ground, the robot has to stop for a few seconds to position itself. Plus, it seems like his purpose of making the robot is to make it like a toy. Doesn't look all that harmful. As cool as Gundam may look in anime and the way it moves, it's impossible to have something like Gundam in real life.

I dont know about impossible pink. I mean look at 500 years ago. who thought we could go to outer space. they probably thought the same thing of it being impossible and look at us now. anyways, this thing is useless as a weapon and as a self made toy, its pretty amazing. now whats the guy gonna do with it now...

All i gots to say is if they dont got Gundam like robots with and 1000years from now i am gonna come back from the dead and slay everything i see...
