Personally I hope they change the controller or aleast make it compatible with the old one, that one looks uncomfortable and the shoulder bottons seem a bit out of reach.
The controllers are really odd looking. The current controller for PS/PS2 are the best one for console imo. I prefer functionality and comfort over design anytime for controllers. The Bluetooth is a nice add-on for the controllers (about time! I hate it when people keeps on tripping the controller wire).
LOL the PS3 logo reminds me of Spider Man movie logo XD

I agree with the controller, it looks like it's gonna be problematic. I like the white and silver better than black though. Black is the thing in the past! :D
Xeno, i was just thinkn exactly the same about the logo. the font they used is the same one in the spider man movies o.o the design looks a lil bit too clean for me. looks like a fridge... controller... looks... eh... i like the idea how you can use the psp as a controller. pretty cool. its just like the GBA and the gamecube thing.
Boomerang controller is a little odd... kinda oldschool kinda cool
best thing is probably backwards compatability...

Personally, I'm glad they're ditching the SCPH-10010 controller design. Crap ergonomics, crap D-Pad, crap analog sticks. You want a nice controller, check out the Nights pad for the Saturn. Comfortable to hold, super clean D-Pad, nice stick tension...
Anyway, the specs look impressive. Nintendo better have a beast lined up if they want to compete on the power front.

*Nodes* The controller seems odd to me too. It is like too huge to grab the whole thing unless you have a huge palms. The design of the console looks like a scanner for me xD

Summer 2006 i believe if it hasnt been postponed or moved forward but im hoping they change the controller to something that can better fit your hand also i hope they can let us use our older ps ps2 controllers instead of having to use the bluetooth controllers

The controller looks like a boomerang...on the bright side if you ever get mad and throw your controller...it will come back to you...lol...cheesy joke no?
blu-ray is a lot of $$$...until we get a good balance between supply & demand...i last checked a coupla months...ill recheck soon...a blank blu ray was a hundred and something dollars
i couldn't even find how much the drive costs...

The design of the PS3 is good, but I agree whit the controller it... dont like it.
Yeah...the first thing i said when i saw the PS3 was..."damn, that controller looks INSANLY uncomfy"
the specs are nice, but holy shit it's gonna be expensive.
if nintendo, doesn't have a beast, it'll have the cheapest system as usual, which'll be an ultra plus to hold me over till the price for the PS3 drops. (although i'll probably play the revolution more anyways sinc ei LOVE nintendo games)
after watching G4 TV cover the press confrences, i hafta say the systems graphics look impressive. but the question is is it IN GAME. they said killzone was all in game, but that brings up the question of...was it altered at all? and just HOW MUCH of it was in game. kevin pererra refused to believe it was all in game lol.
anyways, i'm excited about the PS3.
just very fearful of the price, especially after seeing the price of the PSP which is a portable x_x
