Do You Still Watch Your First Anime?
Well, we all have that one show that started it all. That one anime that got you hooked and left you craving more. But what I was wondering if any of you still watch that same anime today?
For me, it was Cardcaptor Sakura, and to this day, I still find myself pulling out that boxset to watch some of my favourite episodes every once in a while. To me, it's just special, being that one anime that started it all, and I could never just forget about it. I still love that series to bits, and even though I've watched every episode more times than I can count, it doesn't get boring or feel 'old'.

My first was full metal panic fumoffu and i still watch it!(i discovered full metal panic! after). Just after was Hellsing and i think i was lucky to start with those ones.
First I ever watched was Evangelion, and I do watch it again from time to time, to drain my brain. It's a classic after all.
That's interesting, I also watched fumoffu before FMP!, and then TSR after that. No big deal, since fumoffu more or less stands on its own.

One of my first anime was Digimon, and I watch that when I'm bored still.
Escaflowne is the first anime that really got me into anime, however, and I still watch that all the time.

Hey, my first anime is Cardcaptor Sakura too! And yeah, I do watch it from time to time whenever I have the urge to. I've already watched it from head to toe at least twice.
I still dust of the old favorites now and again...its really hard to say which show really "hooked" me on anime. I grew up watching Voltron (Go Lions) and Robotech (Macross) and I loved them before I knew they were remakes of existing anime shows. I still love them...just gotta wait until the FINALLY put out Voltron DVD >_<

Hmm... if i remeber right... it was Doraemon. I hardly watch it now... T_T i still have the old tapes and DVDs... then after that i wasn't really into anything then i think was Inuyasha.... which ended very soon...

I have watched too many animes, i can only remember my first manga is Dragonball. Kept that in cold storage already. as for anime, I do re-watch certain series, like Scrapped Princess, Stellvia of the Universe, Kiddy Grade.
Well i do remember spending alot of money to buy the 0083 Stardust Memory collector's box. And rewatched it 3 times already. That might be the first anime. Still can't really recall ... lol..

The first one that really got me hooked was Fushigi Yuugi. And I just finished rewatching that a few months ago. I think I was 12 when I first saw that. Rurouni Kenshin(my favorite to this day) followed that along with Eva and I definately go back and watch those from time to time. I bought the Kenshin fansubs on VHS over the net, which probably wasn't legal now that I think about it, in the late 90's.
My first ever was Sailor Moon. I remember getting up really early on Saturdays just to watch it. I also remember crying at a few choice episodes. I loved that show. Then, I was out of the loop for awhile, because Sailor Moon was taken off the air and there was no other anime on. Then, years down the line Pokèmon and Digimon came around and then more and more Anime started coming over. I was sooo excited. That's basically my story...
My first was Astro Boy. I don't think they show that on tv anymore. XD

I can't really remember well coz I started watching anime really young. Of course at that time, I didn't know the difference between anime and cartoons (although in essence they're the same, they're still slightly different, no?) I guess it was either ghost fighter or dragon ball. Or maybe it was mojacko?? I think they were aired at the same time here. >.<
