Do You Still Watch Your First Anime?

Well my first anime series was DBZ...
if I have the chance to watch it while it's on during saturday on cartoon network I watch it... but other than that I don't cause it's too expensive for me to buy the series on dvd...
plus I don't have an infinate amount of space on my comp so I couldn't download it if I tried......
oh well

My first anime would have to be saint seiya. It was a really well made anime back then. It' really got me interseted from the very first episode until someone became or have already became a gold knight. Then about two years ago, it was aired again. I was really happy to see my very first anime back on t.v. But unfortunate, they don't show it anymore. But I was still happy to see it now. And now im on a quest to seek out all of the episode and season and watch it all, hopefully buying the whole set from an anime convetion or something. :p
My first anime is Gatekeepers. I know it's not popular or anything but it is still one of my favourite animes. Maybe it's because Gatekeepers is the first anime that I've seen, I feel kind of attracted to it. I have bought the whole set recently I have watched it repeatedly for who knows how many times. Lol. Although I have watched it for so many times, I don't feel bored. I've also watched Gatekeepers 21st century (or something like that). But I still think that the 'old' Gatekeepers is better.

I recently downloaded all the first season of Sailor Moon (with latin voices mind you), even when I'm tired of repetitive episodes. I guess it all comes down to reliving nostalgic memories, even if the cartoons really suck.
Take this
When I have time I watch Arbegas and MAzinger. A local channel reruns both animes about 17pm. Those were my first animes and I still love them. Especially ARbegas.
It's definately not my first anime, but it is the first anime I've watched "fansubbed". That is Da Capo. Which I rewatch regularly. I believe I've been through it.. four.. maybe five times up to this point. Love the show, and it introduced me into the world of fansubs.
The first anime I can recall seeing would be the original Dragonball. If I had the means, I would gladly rewatch it.

Of course! I watch tenchi muyo at least once a week becaus eit's just so cute! I always love that anime and the dvds come in real handy ever since they took it off that toonami show! blast you cartoon network! Get some good anime instead of that dumb bobobo-bobo-bobo (srry if i offend anyone)

The one that started it all for me is Inuyasha. i love rewatching every episode. it is the best anime ever (second to several)
My first anime was Pokemon or Sailormoon. I remmeber watching it on KidsWB, or something similar to that. Though I'm not entirely sure, I think that it was Pokemon that got me interested in anime. (Though I suppose it isn't really considered one now sicne it seems to be influenced with Western culture and the episodes are hardly considered to have enough material.) I relaly liked Pikachu, and thought it was cute. And, when I was like in grde school, the idea of the good guys always winning and the bad guys getting "blasted away" but never dying attracted a kid like me. The dubbed version was really hilarious and I laughed everytime a character talked even though I had no idea what in the world I was laughing about. It's too bad the episodes aren't that good anymore.
I cant seem to get a hold of my first anime... wonder if you guys have heard of Tekkaman? or Teknoman in the states, its the series with the lead character named Blade, if only they re-release it on DVD...
My first was Ah! my goddess after that Neon Genesis Evangelion and Berserk I still watch it. those series are just too good I am watching it at least twice a year

My first anime was either Dragonball or Sailor Moon (the dubbed versions). Or...maybe it was MegaMan, but I don't really remember it. I'm not even sure if I was aware that they were anime until Pokemon came out, but anyway, I've seen all of Dragonball and DBZ, but the fights are really long. I prefer Yuu Yuu Hakusho over it now. And Sailor Moon, I still watch it, but I like the original Japanese show over the dubbed, but they only came out with the first two seasons of it on DVD, so I guess I'll have to wait until they do the rest.
