1) The background. You shouldn't use a real picture on a wallpaper about animes... It's not coming out pretty well.
2) The scans are TERRIBLE.. You have extraction problems and you really need to fix them before doing anything else. Also think it could be useful to know how they are...
3) you need to sign your wall.
4) The hand coming out the water is a nice concept... But the hand need to be cleaned and also needs some more extraction. The reflect on the water looks great.
I would take off the trees and just keep a background with some lake and some trees in the far background. It would give some light to the wall. And then you will be able to add some text...
Hope that helps you.
Good luck!

I really like the concept you've got, and what you've got so far is pretty good. But like Zazou said, the silhouettes are really jagged and still have white pixels on them.
I don't know what program you use, but what I'd do in Photoshop is make a new layer and trace over the scans with the pen tool, then just fill the area with black. That'll give you a nice clean edge around the characters.
Anyway, keep it up! I think you've got a really great idea here!

Yeah, basically a repeat of zazou's four points
1. direct use of stock in walls without any sort of manipulation or with very little treatments is a reason for rejection. it is highly advised against so please do not do so again. ^^
2. extraction is very poor. it looks like something done with a hard-edge eraser or something done in a basic basic program like ms paint. please note that only programs with higher functions than pain are recommended. for a list, go to groups >> resource pool >> application.
3. the sig...but is that string of text there to the left your sig? just so you know, a sig must contain your username at AP so that you are identified as the waller
4. the hand...erm...i don't think i need to say much more
so bad to the drawing board for ya. ^^; keep on trying!
