Why do people just have to tell evryone that they hate dubs?

Rather easily. The really horrid voice actors. Seriously, they really don't know the art of intonation.
Actually dub depends of it budget, kingdom hearts and square series have awesome people, but that because they are picky and get high profile people to do the dubs
and it doesn't turn half bad.
and it doesn't turn half bad.
I like BOTH dubbed and subbed anime.
There, I said it.
The biggest argument against dubbed voice-acting here is that people are saying "it sucks and the acting is so much better in Japanese." OK, now this is probably the weakest argument anyone could make. Why? Well, unless you are a native speaker of Japanese (which I'm doubting most of you are), then you don't have any idea if the acting is good or bad. You don't know what they're saying!
It's because you understand English (or whatever the dubbed language) that you can pick up on a bad performance when you hear it. When you hear Japanese (and don't speak it) it all sort of runs together and you have no idea if the acting is good or bad. Perhaps that is what some people want?
Now, I'm not going to proclaim I'm fluent in Japanese, but I'm proficient enough in the language to know if someone is delivering lines well or not. The Japanese voice actors are just as good and bad as the English ones. Some are good, some are not. Why do otaku think that Japanese voice actors are infallible?
People need to give dubs a chance. I mean, when Shinichiro Watanabe (the director of Cowboy Bebop), said that he thought the English dub was quite good, then you've gotta take a step back and think, "If the original Japanese director liked it, maybe I should listen to it."
Sometimes they are good, sometimes not.
Shows with crap dubs = Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tenchi Muyo, Crest/Banner of the Stars.
Shows with superior dubs = Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Obviously it is all a matter of personal preference. But give BOTH a chance before making a blanket statement that one is crap before even giving it a chance.

Well, there isnt a rule saying that you cant post what you "hate" in terms of anime relations.
People dont like dubbed, its their opinion, and since this IS a forum, then why shouldnt they share what they think. Hey you might be offended since your first language is english (some of my brit friends think dubb is better) and people dont like your language's dubb, but thats them.
If it troubles you that much with the spamming of it in forums...no one is forcing you to read it.
And btw, i didnt actually read your intro so this post may have nothing to do with the topic XD

I am confused on what you want this thread to go.
First, you can't stop the people to post their opinion on a topic, any topic here, because everyone is entitled with that. If it is their opinion that they "hate" dubs then it is theirs. You can't expect everyone to agree with you because every person is different. You cannot stop people to voice out what their thoughts are. What is the use of a forum if their won't be interaction?
YES, interaction because a good discussion doesn't only tells the one side of a topic but also the other.
Your opinion on how good an anime dub is, is your OWN opinion remember that, and the opinions from everyone else is their OWN...(goes on for a bit more)
okay im clearing this up for the third time (hopefully it'll be more understandable)...
lets say i have 3 posts:
Should dubs be done by professional voiceovers or movie actors?
Whats the best english dubbed anime
Are animes getting dubbed too soon?
The first 2 posts have a disclaimer about posting "constructively" and at least half the posts are about their preference about dubbing...
Ironically the 3rd post (are animes getting dubbed to soon) the first post was the only incident. and i didnt even have a disclaimer!
My point? True its ppl's opinion and their entitled to free speech yadda yadda... BUT youre saying "im asking for opinions on how good dubbed animes are" (read last line on above quote) but thats not the point. It doesnt matter if i love dubs or hate them.
If i ask "what is the best english dubbed anime?" i would like a response of what kind of dubbed animes other people like, NOT if you hate it or not. thats irrelevant you see?
Or if i ask "Should dubs be done by professional voiceovers or movie actors?" How does that relate to peoples opinions dub preference?
True i cant stop people from posting things that are not related to topic matter, but theres no harm from trying right? ALSO its kind of sad when people dont even read the whole first post and still throw in their 2 cents :\ (it cant be helpd i guess.

Third, you can't stop a person to express their side if you are in a forum. Do you really know what a discussion is? And what a forum is all about?

You can if your an admin.

is that some new form of morse code?
some of the animes might be alright... for example, Hellsing, CowboyBpop, etc. But sometimes they shouldn't dub anime that has japanese culture/greetings. Sometimes, culture difference becomes a barrier to a better dub. hmmmm hard to say~~~ but most of the time I prefer original voice...

No one can say that all anime that is dubbed sucks, I mean Cowboy Bebop was a very good dub. There are many excellent english voice actors that I think do a great job. I can see the point about there being some things lost in translation and the sub being closer to the real meaning, but unless you know the japanese language then that is probably going to happen anyway. The bottom line is it is all up to personal preferences. However, if people feel that strongly about it, I don't think you can stop them from voicing thier opinions even if it wasn't the intent of the post.

Even though i prefer subbed, not all dubbed is done poorly.
However, the voice-acting field in japan is a lot more competitive than the one in America, which results in better voice actors/actresses.
Another factor that often impacts the quality of dub, is that American dubbers often place their voice actors in individual rooms, where they do the voices by themselves.
In japan, they are often placed in the same room, so the actors can get more of a feel for the relationships between the characters and the atmosphere.
Also, I've noticed in a lot of American dubs, that they try to give characters strange accents that don't really make sense... (i.e. One Piece).
I find that the lazy and more laid back people prefer dubbed (since they don't have to read), and the more hardcore ones prefer subbed.
It also depends on what you're used to. For example, I grew up watching the Chinese dubbed version of Slam Dunk, so when I watch the subbed version, it feels kind of awkward for me. If you're used to the American dubbers, then you would probably prefer to continue watching the dubbed.
It's stupid to blindly say that one is terrible.

I didnt say either was terrible i just said im more exposed to dubbed anime than fansubs. I do agree some english producers make stupid moves like giving Italian accents to Ganju Shiba's (Bleach) Gang
But again this thread is not about liking or not liking dub/sub but about people talking completely off topic and ending up being a love/hate dub/sub fest.
Oh and its kind of wrong to say people are lazy/laidback because they watch dubbed anime. For my personal reason i'm trying to watch as many animes as i possibly can since im a few years behind. Also, i cant spend every waking every hour glued to the idiot box, i have friends, school, work, photoshop, and animepaper to F with. Also personally dubs are getting exponentially better IMO.
