Hey everyone!
This is my first post here. This is a fanart type thing of a webcomic called Misfile, don't know if any of you are familiar with it. If not, you should definitely check it out. I'm usually not a fanart person since I find it more fun and challenging coming up with my own characters, but I felt compelled to do this. The character's name is Emily, and I wanted to create an outfit for her to get her dressed up. I know the picture came out really grainy, but I had to use my roommate's scanner. If you look at the sketch in person it's really not that bad, but I also didn't think to ink it until I was done. This was my first time using Photoshop, when I was trying to ink it. Your critiques and criticism would be much obliged.

well the clothe look cool and the face too
the one thing you should do better is the hands the right one look weird and that try to got a more "3d look" on that thing she is holding on the left hand ;]
anyway love her face and the shading you did on the clothe ;3

Nice design, but the pose seems a little static.

Thanks for the help. I agree, hands are a major problem for me. Though, I know that's probably true for most people. For the purse she's holding, I wanted it to look more head-on, so it lost any 3-D effect it could have had, I probably should have used a better angle.
Poses are another issue I have. In other pictures I've done, I always have a hard time inventing new ways to stand, as with most of them they're a new character, and you can't create a design with them just sitting. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create different poses? It would be very beneficial to me.

Yes, the pose seems a bit unnatural, but otherwise you've definitely got some nice potential. Body proportions seem to be nice, and I like her face.
Well ... everything looks well ... the shade ... body scale ... however ... there's still something you need to take more attention to ... her arm and hand ... too small ... and a little misshaped ... however you've done a great job ... just need a little improvement and you'll do just nice ...
