I just want to know what would you do if anime is banned. Let see how you really love anime! HeHeHe!
Errr... this is kinda a pointless thread... of course a lot of people who love anime would react to this...
but lets just set it in a real case scenario... if there would be like a country that would ban anime because some officials don't like it, people who love it will still make a way for it to be watched... its like for example, P2P... even there are cases like that have laws regarding audio download, people still do it eventhough its prohibited...

Yeah, above poster with cute love hina ava is right! it's like piracy here in the philippines.. there are laws that ban it, but still, many people thrive in the business of piracy.. and many patronize it.. i have to admit that sometimes i do, but i have m y reasons.. :)

but really there would be no point to ban anime at all... currently no anime can be interpreted as a dig at any country or any person (I think)...
Your not soposed to download licenced anime but.....people ...... do. same would happen if anime became banned, well... in additions to killing who evers stupid idea it was.

If anime would be banned in my country I would move to Japan. At least there I could watch anime. :P
Ban anime? You have got to be kidding. There will be a major outcry and massive riots will take place. Intervention will be needed by the international community. Japan will file a complaint of unfair trading practice. A UN resolution will be passed asserting that the freedom to watch anime is a basic human freedom. Civilization as we know it will come to an end!

I agree with ecrysty85... don't think thats ever going to happen.. worst case scenario, they're going to cut lot of the things that makes the anime good and put it to shame.... just like they're doing now here in america ( dubbs of death) ... ^_^; .....but if it ever gets banned than that will totally suck... learning japanese now..so if that day come's which i doubt than hopefully i'll be fluent enough to live in japan ^_^;
Well, I get my anime from torrents now and if it was banned I still will get it from the net. But if, let's just say that it completely disappeared like off the face of the earth, I would go on a massive killing spree and try to get it back. If all fails, I'd uh.............uh...well.......Complain, whine about it. Hehe...
