The only problem with that card is the 128-bit interface, which isn't bad if you're not putting on a lot of fsaa. Really, I'd suggest you go with something DX9 since you can get more bang for your buck and the fact that DX10 isn't really going to be supported fully for a while.
I can't think of any cards currently but sweenish's suggested is dandy for the price.

Yeah i noticed the 128 Bit interface the card I had before the X800GTO was a 256 bit Interface. I am still checking so if i can get more suggestions that would be cool...and a DX 9 card Is more within my interest.
GeForce 7600GT or above. Very good card, nVidia's been an awesome brand on video card series.

What kind of games are you playing?
It's always good to get the best card you possibly can. Also, keep in mind that nVidia should be cutting prices soon.

I am playing Oblivion FFXI and WoW currently plus I work on 3Ds Max and alot of other Graphic Design Apps, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Also whe ndo you think prices are going to drop ? And if you guys can link me to some of these cards it would be great.

There is zero reason not to get a DX10 card. While it may not be currently that big, it will be. I know that the card I recommended is weak, but I was working within the price range. PC hardware needs to be purchased with the future in mind. Buying a DX9 card is fine, but where will you be in a year? It's not like DX10 cards can't play DX9 games. They do, and they do it better.
The better buy would be the $300 8800 GTS. It is far and away better than any other card in the price range. And only one card actually out-performs it, the 8800 GTX.

Mxg3Ds Max and alot of other Graphic Design Apps, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
These programs will not see any benefit from a better graphics card,
With the one exception being 3D Studio Max. When displaying models in realtime the better graphics card may help. But it will not help with rendering.
These programs are mainly limited by your CPU and RAM.

I see well my Games need to benefit lol running WoW and FFXi at around 3 -15 FPS isn't nice at all. Well what would be the best card that I can get for around 170 USD PCI Express 16... That is all I ask I am not looking at DX10 right now but I would not over look the possibility of getting a DX10 card provided it can out match the card I've posted earlier in my 1st post.
www.tomshardware.com does a monthly "bang for you buck" on video cards.

That's April's chart. For every price range, they give you the best card. Although at your range, you may not see that much of an improvement.

That link was really really Helpful, now it is just a tossup between these 2 cards The Radeon X1950 PRO and GeForce 7900 GS. Although ATI and NVida are almost always the best reliabilty, what are other licensed brand names that manufacture these cards that are reliable ? Please do not say POWERCOLOR.
Thanks
Thanks
Just go for a brand with the longest warranty.
Like EVGA and XFX

Planning to go with this one. Got it at a great price to http://www.computerbrain.com/applications/search/itemdetails.asp?sku=256P2N541T2&sc=FRG#
I always stick with ATI, so therefore I recommend the X1950PRO.
