Originally they were going to make a third series to wrap up the SEED triology but instead they decided to make a full length feature film after they are done with the 4 special edition movies of Destiny.
It is as nychi002 said, there is going to be a final movie sometime in 2007 to wrap up the Seed Universe C.E. 73

I hope they would but then I guess its gonna be boring. That is just my opinion. I hope they can end the series with that movie. I can't wait
I love the Seed series, in my opinion it is the best series of gundam out there, but they need something new.
I've never heard about that, is that sequel of the gundam seed destiny? or is it an OVa?

It's merely a rumor, just like the new UC Gundam Unicorn (while this one is probably going to be made), for all I care they should burn the CE universe, since it's full of fail, especially Jesus Yamato crapped up the two main series of CE. Back on topic, I don't think it'll happen, not after all the CE bashing that has been going on towards Sunrise Inc.
You're a SEED hater aren't you? Dispite all the bashing that happened C.E. was still a sucess in Japan. They would never have made Destiny if SEED wasn't a sucess. The most deep impressed anime I watched on TV is Gundam,butnot the series of SEEDand I think it is not fit me now.But if I was younger maybe I will like it,because when i was young I ofen begged my parents for the robert toys but I would forgot it soon and looked for a new one.I can't remember from when I showed no interest in roberts.Now it seems that the Gundam series had finished in early time but many anime fans especially the Gundan fans always talk about it,so thought I know little about it,I really think it is a very good anime.
