Angelic Layer Wallpaper
1 Page: [ 1 ]
Hi folks, i'm currently working on this wallpaper, and
i'm kinda stuck, i wonder if i should consider this wallpaper
done or if i should add something...
(it looks good so far, but also kinda empty, so i'd go for the second possibility)
but if so, what should i add...i'm out of ideas... oO"
well, here's the wall, feel free to comment.

Hmm.. The dots seem sort of sporadic. I assumed they were meant for a sparkle effect? Would making them bigger with a bit more glow help? The way the character is drawn doesn't seem to flow very well with the background. However, all in all the wallpaper isn't too cluttered and has its basic them going. I like the text/logo as well.
I believe you're trying to come up with a simple and basic wallpaper which isn't bad. I like the touch up you did with it to make it more clear and crisp from the original anime. I agree with copybeaver...the glow would be a good idea. I'm not totally sure about the background...I like it, but I also think its missing something...I'm not a huge fan of this anime so I'm not sure what to suggest, but I think something striking would be a good background...something that shows movement.
Yeah, I wanted to make something simple...
I will see what i can do about the glow and the sparkles...
And yeah, the way it is now, there still missing a connection between the character
and the background...
The essentiall question is: What should I put in the background,
1) to make a connection
2) the get some sort of movement into the whole thing...
any ideas?
(ps. If you still have oppinions for my initial post, that's fine too :P)

Try adding more of the glow/sparkles, make them more thick and tight by her back, and loose and spread out in front of her? You could try that.
Also, since she has the mosaic pattern at her back, try adding some larger mosaic tiles in the background.
I don't know if it'll look better or worse xD
good luck with the rest of it.
