I've recently tried the demo, and it looks like an awesome game. good graphics, classic gameplay, and hopefully fast multiplayer. Also I'm a PP fan (w00t) and nothing beats playing games that Jeremy plays.

C&C 3 is the main reason why I cant die in at least the next two years, got to play it, I got to command some of those freaking cool Nod Avatar "yes?" "I like" "under control" "another one" so cool!!

Sure. It's a great revolution of C&C series. You can see, how far the different is betwwn the Tiberian Sun : Firestorm and this Tiberium Wars. It's been so long since the last C&C series is released by Westwood(now EA ^^).

About the graphic. Sure it's so cool, even I can predict that my hardwares won't be able to produce those graphics. ^^; The graphic is full of 3D, far different than the previous C&C. ^^

About the gameplay. Sure I love that kind of RTS, the type of C&C. ^^ But sure, I must wait until I upgrade my computer. Because RTS hardly be won if the game is lagging. ^^

The demo... Ow, 1,3 GB isn't a small thing in my country. ^^ It can takes about one day to finish it, especially because I've founded it on fileplanet, that in here, it's famous of it's creepy speed. ^^;

Well, I've no wish on this game, because all of them looks so perfect for me. ^^ The only thing is, please release it as soon as possible. ^^

I dont know, the fact that its EA making the game scares me to no end. (im still in shock from CC generals. no, it was not C&C, it was a pathetic attempt at diluting the C&C system with the trendy, generic RTS elements first introduced by starcraft) also, supreme commander is an amazing rts, i dont know which game ill be able to enjoy more.

then again, it is C&C...and there are MAMMOTH TANKs, and KANE IS ALIVE.
on second thought, im at least gonna give at least 2 weeks to fully try it out before making my decision. :D

Ohhh one of my fav threads man!! I love C&C!! Have been playing it since Tiberium Dawn!! It's simply soo cool! I have played the demo too! I really loved the game! I simply can't wait for it's full-version release... EALA also recently announced that the game has gone gold!! YAY!! ^_^

I have played as both, Nod and GDI in the demo itself... and i must say it is pretty good. The Avatar Warmech is my fav unit from the Nod faction. However, it is really expensive... talking about it overall.. Also, the vertigo bombers are a very nice addition aswell!

From the GDI, well, the one and only... Mammoth Mk I.I.I What else??! It's got a dual rail gun... nice armor... and good style! *Flatten em!* They are soo cool!!
Also, i liked the Firehawks and the new Orcas. The new effects of the Ion Cannon are supertacular!! Although i think that both the Nod nuclear missile and the Ion Cannon have nearly the same destructive force... just different firing and impact animations >_>

I also noticed some really funny things in the game!! Like the Juggernaught behaves like a pet puppy!! Really! It's soo funny! XD XD

Also, there are a few bugs in the demo too... but it's alright... i don't expect them in the retail as they have announced it as gold!

The graphics are ultrastic!! They have really done a work good job at enhancing the SAGE. Although the Pyrotechniques covers most of the graphics parts >_>

But there are a few things which i disliked in the game.....
Like music... the music is good. But it's not the same as what we saw in TS or earlier... i couldn't select a track and just like Generals, the music kept on playing in loop... which got a little boring after some time... and it also goes with what happens in the game... which is something i didn't like..

Although the menu music is simply excellent!! Speaking of menu, i think the new menu is just great! Fantastic work...

Anyhow...
Another thing i didn't like as much was the limitation of variety... meaning, unlike TS, very unique and new units cannot be seen in the game... Like the Disruptor from TS... I think they have taken a bit from Generals about gameplay aswell... which is something they shouldn't have done. I really cannot see original and imaginative units in the game... which was seen in TS and TD.....
And as GDI, except for the Mk I.I.I i really don't see any other good ground unit...
However, both the air units of GDI are good.

And as Nod, the Avatar would be the only ground unit i would use or prefer... and the Venom is fine but isn't all that good like the Orca. Except for the fact that it can shoot air-to-air... But the Vertigo is really good. Although it's payload is lesser than it's GDI counterpart... the Firehawk.

The AI is really good, though... Smarter, faster, more reactive and more efficient.... Till now, i have been able to reach the Brutal skill level with 30% handicap to my side! But that is a really tough game!!

Also, the AI personality thing is also a good addition...

Overall it's a really good game. Worthy of the inclusion into the Tiberium universe. I am really gald about the fact that Kane is back and is being played by Kucan himself!! YAY!! ^_^ Also, i can't wait to get to know about The Scrin!! They have been hinted at in the earlier two games... in the universe... Man! I am even going to get to play them!! Wohoo!! ^_^ ^_^

Also, the starcast of the game is very good. Quite talented people. And good and sexy looking people too! If you know what i mean... ^_<

A sequel to TS was long awaited and it is finally here!! The third and not necessarily the final Tiberium War is about to begin!! Welcome back, Commander ^_^

Im not really looking forward to it. the only C&C i really liked was C&C2.
i prefer warcraft3 when it comes to realtime strategiegames.
C&C games are only about massing units not really about strategie.
It doesnt even need micromanagement of your units to win, you just over mass the enemy with the most deadly unit and you win.

I am looking forward for it and i hope it would be better than Generals and would have more strategy on it ^^

You can download the demo from either Fileplanet or the EA Link software. Both downloads are free. Or else you might have to wait for the demo to be available on any of the gaming magazines. But that can take time... and that is why it is not a good option..

So, download the demo asap!! The time has come!! It's now the beginning of the third Tiberium War!! Welcome back, Commander! ^_^

Firstly, please note that Generals and Zero Hour wasn't actually C&C. It was a completely different universe. And was also a test for their SAGE.
The game in concern here is Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Which is a sequel to the earlier and 2nd tiberium war back in 1999. Called, Tiberian Sun. And not to Generals or the later...

But you can bet it is better than Generals!! :)
The strategy however, depends largely on the player... so i can't say much about that...
But for me, it has a LOT of strategy!!

The graphics are ultrastic!! Although they have made the game on SAGE only... but it's heavily modified. A lot of excellent Pyrotechniques have been used... the overall effect looks super. It's just too good.

But running on your comp... well, can't say anything there unless i get knowledge about your comp's config! :P

Yeh 1GB is way too much for a demonstration.
They don't do'em like they used to.

I remember waiting over a day to download a soldier of fortune 2 demo, over dial up back in 2001, boy have things changed in service providing since (in my country, Portugal), now I have a 12mbit connection that I don't know what to do with - not really.

Those brotherhood of Nod are looking cool.

I already played the demo, so cool! Even in my old PC with dummy resource it worked great and I can go in a one to one against a normal AI, full of strategy, full of fast attacks, really great!

Lol, I was able to play in my old pc at 14 FPS (frames per second) with low quality setting, now in the new one I can run it at medium-high settings..., hum, anyway, if I turn all off I run at 31 FPS. It's tiem for a faster than light upgrade.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I have heard good things about it. But the A.I better be good. Because in the other games the A.I really sucked. The computer was ether to hard or to easy which was a let down. But in the age of awesome games, C&C should be more awesome than awesome.

I'm looking forward to it. I've played the demo and it seems really interesting. But the graphic is too hard for my PC. SO I'll stick with Generals before my new RAM and Video Card arrives.
