I think best end fight is at the end of Samurai Champloo. The fights involving both Jin and Mugen were just spectacular. None of that yelling and powering up/yelling out styles stuff that you see in so many "samurai" animes. This was just nitty gritty fighting. Sure some of the stuff was a bit over the top, but still, no powering up. (I hate powering up)

Yeah, I definitely agree with you about that last Samurai Champloo fight. Aside from the fact that there wasn't any power up scene, there wasn't much talking either. Talking in the middle of a fight scene really causes the fight to lose it's fluidity. No one in there right mind would start talking in the middle of a fight about how their they're avoiding their opponents attacks or something.

The FF VII AC, Sephiroth vs cloud, and Gundam Seed Freedom vs Providence is the best ever, the battle is so fantastic !

Someone said FFVII Advent Children... hell yea! all those fights were so good to watch... Once I finished watching the movie I rewatched all the fight scenes like immediately after cos they were so spectacular.

Also it wasn't really a fight (well there was fighting), but the ending couple of episodes to the first and second series of Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex were really really good in my opinion. There was so much drama and tension and in the end it was all really cool ^_^

The Naruto and Sasuke fights were really good, but my god they went on for so bloody long!

Let me see. The Naruto VS Sasuke fight was deffinantly the one of the better fights i have seen. Then there was a fight from Gundam seed i think it was one of them on the desert that i really liked. then there are all the short well fights from Gunslinger Girl.

I would say my favorite Anime fight would be the Naruto VS Sasuke one. Especially the water part. It look very good and you can feel that power bubbling up inside them. I have to say i didnt like it when Sasuke transformed into that ugly 2 winged monster but apart from that i really liked it. Naruto's anger was expressed very clearly and i really liked when he changed into the fox thing :p. I much prefer it when Naruto doesn't have control of himself and acts more like the fox. IE runs on 4 feet and seems to slash out more then punch. It's just hard to express but i liked it allot. It was very fast paced but you could follow what they were doing. On top of that the art for that fight seemed to be very good as well.

In second place comes the Fights from Gunslinger Girl. They may be very short but visual wise they are by far the best of the 3. You certainly get the feel that these girls have above human cababilites but on the other hand they arent unrealistically powerfull (throwing fireballs or punching a villain 50 feet just wouldn't fit)

Then comes the Gundam Seed fights. It has been a very long time since i have seen Gundam Seed (the year before lasts summer vacation) So i am having a hard time remembering exactly what happened. Dont get me wrong some of the battles were pretty good (especially in the begging of Seed). The only one that i seem to remeber to this day however is the fight's were Kira fights in the desert. Another one i like is when Athrun (or Aslan?) and Cagali(?) were in the city and got stuck in the middel of some gun fight.

If i were to give rankings it would be as followed

Naruto VS Sasuke 9.4/10
-I didnt like the Sasuke transforming bit

Gunslinger Girl (all fights, individual ones are to short)
8.9/10
-They are very short.

It's hard to Judge Gundam Seed because it's been such a while but if those scenes in the desert would receive a grade it woudl be 8.5

I'd have to say that throughout all of the Animes I've seen and watched, there was only a couple that truly stand out in my mind that I can instantly point out. As for the factor that my memory is more or less a short term type of dealio. However the one that always gives me chills are usually the fights during Bleach. Though to make it a lot cleaner in knowing what they are, I'll list them below.

My all time favorite in my own opinion! Is Kenpachi Vs Ichigo. Why you may ask? Action packed, Drama, Huge Power Vs Huge Power, and even information is released about some of the Bleach aspects. I loved when Kenpachi stabbed forward and got cut in the nose, Man what a cool battle.

As for my Second Favorite, it would have to be both of Renji's Fights for a tie. Just because during these there is so much emotion on him trying to prove himself.

Thirddddd is the fight between Byakuya and Ichigo! Now this was Epic, huge displays of power, different secrets revealed, Ichigo showing his true strength along with Mr. Noble! Then the big surprise during the middle of it...

Ah, the final fight between Spike and Vicious in Cowboy Bebop. A fantastic ending and the whole anime had been building up to that point. Brilliant.

There are many nice fighting scenes, but the coolest would have to be Levy vs Rebecca from black lagoon, the terminator maid episode!

Ha-ha!! I thinking that as I was trolling this thread. I was LITERALLY on the edge my couch with tears in my eyes from staring to close to my projection TV when I saw that fight, mainly because I was concerned about my dearest Revy.

Speaking of which, those bastards better make a third season!

The top ones i wud say, naruto vs sausuke at the nearby waterfall, tat fight took like 3 edpisodes to finish, it was indeed good,i couldnt tell whos gonna win >.<, and the other 1 is ichigo vs byakuya, wow, i was longing for tat fight for like ages >.<, anyway in tat fight,we can really see the intensity of the 2's XD loved tat 1 ~~

Cowboy Bebop, The final fight between Vicious and Spike, the way they kill each other, its awesome!

Not a big fan of fighting animes since battle is dragged out a bit long. If I have to choose one, it would be Ichigo vs Byakuya in soul society when Ichigo first used bankai. His speed was amazing.
