It was good until fanbois and fangurls start doing stuff to it and i hope the fillers end soon
I think naruto fillers is still going on wven at ep. 185 and 186

If you are watching around the fillers...I TOTALLY AGREE, Naruto starts to get uninteresting around the Fillers because they are so damn boring! This might just be me personally but i stopped watching Naruto around episode 170, because i couldnt take the fillers.

Unfortunately we are dealing with fillers till the new season is finished. remember they have to animate the episodes, then revoice them, it takes a while to finish a 30 min episode. so hopefully by mid/late summer/late fall the show will be out in its second arc

Ahh!! Finally some one who agrees with me on this issue. I for one was all for Naruto back when it started '02 or was it '03..? Up till episode 1 to probably after the Chuunin Exam but before the search for Tsunade the whole series was running smooth, but after the Chuunin Exam I started to see the major fall back on quality and pointless episodes. I feel the series is dragging on and on a little to much to the point that I've lost interest in the series. Some times I even forget what's the main plot of the series with all the pointless episodes.
Ah c'mon some Fillers were quite entertaining. The Scent Bug Episode, Hinata's new Technique in Action,... and the Rock Lee and Gai-Sensei Imposters ^-^-^-^-^ Only Naruto was stupid enogh to believe that those two imposters weren't the real ones.
Well from what I know the anime has some fillers so not to catch up to the manga(if you didn't know the manga is ongoing therefore they need not to be close to where it is.) if you are very impatient to see what's going on, read the manga.
I agree that the storyline has thusly deteriorated! The manga is just running on low steam, in my opinion. I don't really have incentive to read anymore. But it's still a good manga to read, that is if you start from the beginning and forget that you've waited months for the story to progress!
Naruto started out great. But when it reached to the point where Sasuke left, they filled it with so many fillers. Darn them. They wanted to let the manga go on first.

Well, the first time that naruto was aired, I watched it and got hooked. I couldn't get enuf of it and juz hafta watch it everyday...i love sasuke and kakashi! they totally rock my world. But as time goes on, i'm wondering...where in the name of hell is sasuke?? The main flow of story isn't the same without him,even the plot revolves 'round him...*sigh* mind if I sing? "Bring it back, bring it back, don't take your love..away from me..." Hey maybe they did that crap to prolong the animation...what ddo you think?

Its been so long since... ep ..whatever it was that it's kinda lost touch.
I mean they're giong to have to be pretty smart about bringing it back to the original storyline without being lame at all. ^^;
I've stopped watching the filler eps since... it sorta started. So not so sure how it's really going.
But eh, if they ever do get back to storyline, I'd still love to watch it :) :)
The very next part that supposedly continues the storyline from when it left is when Yondaime appears... and the kakashi story...so ... I wanna see that. haha
On the otherhand, I just updated myself with everything by reading the manga up till one of the latest (chap 309)
Starting to think that it's really pointless in the "i must find sasuke and bring him back" crap. Should just go find him, beat the crap outta him and just kick him off the cliff.

I've watched Naruto from episode 1-140 abouts and stopped beacuse of the horrible fillers. I really dont know why they didnt stop the anime for a year or so allow the manga to get some breathing room and then we wouldn't be stuck with 40+ episode of crap.
I am hopefull that the manga will be interesting I've read most of it and so far its okay, nothing ground breaking.

I started watching Naruto sometime last year, and I was totally hooked. That is, until the fillers started airing the last 6 months or so. I still faithfully watch them every week, but some episodes just makes me wanna vomit blood. An example would be the whiny episode of the rich kid with a runny nose. I just can't stand his voice! On top of that, some episodes make Rasengan such a "cheap" technique..such as in the episode with the postmen ninjas, Jiraiya and Naruto used it to power their boat! It was so painful to watch the scene especially if you recall how much Naruto went through just to master the technique, and also the fact that only the Fourth, Jiraiya and him are able to perform Rasengan.
Anyway, there are some fillers which are not too bad though I seriously can't wait for them to get back to the main plot, before I actually forget what the main plot is all about. But I guess we'll all have to be patient as there will probably be another few more months of fillers to endure...
