How do you keep track of what anime you watch?
Yall know how i keep track of my stuff (look at my sig) but im curious... do you use different websites? Just type up a list on notepad? Maybe you just have a folder of dvd's and keep track of it there? i wanna know!! ^_^
As for me, before i found that site, i was just keeping it in my harddrive... then that got too full, so i bought another Hard Drive (350gb) then that got too full so i started using notepad to make sure i kept track of my anime. then somone told me to try ANN but it was too cluttered IMO then i was introduced to that one below.

I use google document and have a list of animes separated into different genre groups and I just pick randomly... well i try to watch action ones and then soft ones and then action ones again and maybe sad ones... i like all animes.
On my list i rate my animes from 1-10 on a personal level and how much i liked it and i go on to make reviews for the anime series out of /100 ^_^

For a good portion of my series, I use the "My Watchlist" feature on Fansub.tv to keep track. For other series, I use the "Bookmarks" feature on the Google Toolbar to keep track of the sites I get them from. Storage-wise, I keep all my anime on an external harddrive and I give every series that I am actively watching its own folder. If I'm just watching a couple episodes to see if I want to watch the series, I keep all those episodes in another folder. Then I burn series off as necessary once they're complete.

Hmm... I usually save it in my favorites list to keep track...
But then again I also, manually list in in my notebook and notepad

I don't keep track. Whats the point? The shows I liked I keep, onces I didn't I don't. + since I'm only interested in specific genre I do remember most of them... well, everything else I can look up on the internets...
Mental storage. I don't watch as many series as most people do, yet it's fairly easier for me to keep a track of what I watch in my head. I don't remember individual episodes, though, yet ones that make a rather significant impact on me I do remember.
I don't download anime either and buy the dvds of the series I favor.
Yet, I do keep a small list of series and Volumes I'm going to purchase in the future as well as a piece of paper keeping track of the ones I already own.

If i had the money to buy and support the anime series i like i would... but its so $$$
I can somehow still remember what I have seen but problem is how to organize files on my hard-disk and anime "on my radar". So I signed up to AniDB (I never even tried ANN) and I think it's nearly perfect, only disadvantage would be lack of good unix or system-independent clients (yes they have software which can automatically track your anime). To keep my disk in order I developed system of directories mounted together by AUFS (Another Union FileSystem) (which is still quite [unstable/funny]).
Well, When i watch an anime i would check out all the related items that there is about the anime, i would hear the songs that is broad casted thought the anime series. I would search forums and through out the internet for pictures and wallpapers. I constantly have all the pictures of the anime i watch with me. thought it did take up quite abit of space, so i got myself a external hard drive to aid me cause i don't have much memory space on my laptop. didn't want to lag my laptop due to too much memory space used. anyway, if the anime is really good, i might consider getting the manga or figurines of the anime. but those is rather expensive so i do not have much of those stuff. but should i want to check the record of what anime that i have watch before i would check if i have the pictures of it. if i have a lot of it that means that i have watched it before. Plus i would also collect their review and OST. In fact for almost all the anime that i have watched before i would delicate a blank disc to it with all the relevant information and items in it. sometimes 1 disc is also not enough. i do really like to collect information about anime. i guess that my craziness has also taken up to another notch. that is how i keep track of the anime that i have watched before. it is quite a good method as with the pictures, music, review, etc etc it would roughly jolt my memory and i would remember roughly the contents of the anime.
However there is still a down-side to my method. it does not completely bring back all the memories of the anime, or example, i used to like the anime- kiddy grade and inuyasha 2 years ago. but there other day when i just play the songs of both the anime, i could remember most of inuyasha anime and stuff about it. but i couldn't remember where i have hear the kiddy grade song and it wasn't until i saw the picture that i knew that i have watched it before. But i still cannot remember the anime except of a vague story line. Then i went to re watch Kiddy grade and i swear i have forgotten somethings else...
Does anybody has a better method of keeping track of the anime watched?

I just write the anime that i'm currently watching and mark down the eps that i finished watching, i also write down anime that i am planning on watching in the future.
I use the searchlist as a reminder.
Whenever you look for something the word will be stored.
Well..I use that to remember what episode I'm on.

I type up a list in notepad then print it off of all the anime I have and all the anime Im downloading then a put C by the completed series and I highlight the ones I have finished watching my friend and I divid the series between us so our list is pretty big.
I try to keep a list in my head. Or I might write it down on a piece of paper. Or if I'm on the computer I'll open word pad and write it there and save it.
I actually just wanted to buy the anime DVD and the OST disc...and collect them as my hobby... then display them... which would look very cool to me... but it will b a bloody costly hobby...so i can only do what i am doing now. sigh.....
I've got a list on Microsoft Word. I've also got another list that puts my top 10 or so in order. The top ten list includes anime, and also favorite characters. I've got an average size collection of dvds, but I only own about 1/2 of what I've watched, because most of the series that I've watched haven't come out here yet! ^^
