Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I'm not a math genious, but I have some friends that's genious enough. One of them is studying very hard every day. Turn off the tv, radio, handphone, every single thing that could distract you from math book and theories at that moment. While for the other one : paying attention on the teacher when they're explaining the lesson in the class, practicing/doing tasks, watching DVD at home, and sleep as much as you can. For some people, lack of sleep could burn your brain out. So make sure that you get enough sleep - and eat, lol XD

Well... my parent is never angry if I don't pass the exam. They know I've tried my best, that's the most important thing to them, besides, it happens rarely. Only once or twice if I'm not wrong.

You mean favorite topic in math? I do have some, but I don't remember it anymore, lol XD I think I have erased all of those math theories and formulas from my head, hehe. I'm in design department, I do still use some math, but it's not as hard as I used to learn.

Well... let's see.. I don't remember the worst.. But it could be 100 and then down to 90, 80, 70, 60? Oo I think I get bad mark once or twice, but I don't remember the numbers.

Math is actually could be fun sometimes, you know :D But.. well, yeah, it sucks most of the time, especially if I don't understand what the teacher is talking about, haha XP

Regards, Yuki

1: Well, all I did was watch what he did and learned it fast, if I did study I just did the homework over again or looked over my notes.
2: No, I will just tell them I have already past so gg.
3: Art (Clay work the best)
4: Most of the time I got a 80-90 on my test when i was in Math class. Some times I would get a 70 if I had no idea what was going on.

First off, I must be a defective Asian, because I am not the number-crunching stereotype... then again, I was raised in the U.S. most of my life, so the educational system may have something to do with it... maybe...

1. Study habit for math? It depends. What kind of math? If it is something dealing with using equations a lot (over and over), then the best way to study is actually to practice, just like drawing. Do a lot of excersises that require the use of that equation or warms up your speed in calculation speed. This is mainly for those timed math test where you basically calculate things. Otherwise, the math may require you to come up with the equation and then solve it from some information provided. That is more critical thinking than number-crunching with speed and accuracy, though that is not saying critical thinking questions wont be timed or doesnt require accuracy.. but your not a caculator zombie that has to finish 30-70 math calculation problems. At your stage, I suspect your just trying to finish a number of math problems within the class period or given time limit. Know the definitions and equations, and practice by always doing all homework, and even give yourself homework to do and check. The best thing about having no time limit and certain calculation problems is that there are always ways to check if your right by using another method (assuming you've learned it). If you get the same answer over and over, it is probably right since your using different methods/equations to solve it. (using the same equation/method holds the risk that your just making the same dumb mistake over and over)

2. Does my parents get pissed if I dont pass my math test... My parents gets pissed if I did not pass ANY test. Pass = anything above the A or B mark... usually the bar is set at A's for Elementry - High school, though that is not saying I've always made A's. As of now, I get pissed at myself if I did not pass any test... If i get C or below, you be sure I would mark that class as a "red alert" zone where I have to start working hard-as-a-rock to get that grade to an A average again.

3. My favorite topic in math? ...none. Work is work, and work != (does not equal, for computer science peeps) fun, therefore there is no favorite type of work for me. Of course, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division basics are always favored over harder mathmatical concepts such as proofs in discrete math or topics in multi-variate to linear algerbra.

4. In college, the lowest I got on a math test OR quiz that I can REMEMBER was probably in the 80 to 85 range, while tops would be 100+ if there was extra credit. Usually I keep them above the 90 score to maximize the chance I get an A average, or at least have a pillow to fall on (though in college, that pillow is rather thin, always!) if you were to fall in grade. College is on a 10 point scale, so 90=A still. High school was 6 point scale, where 90 = B and would not cut it for me.

Dont get scared... I feel like i should make good grades in these classes. I have yet hit a major math filter course or high level course... so sooner or later I will have to accept scores that will be lower than what I am used to getting. But until then, the more lower level courses/less advanced courses should have grades that are high as they can and should be... and save the TRUE b!tching/crying for that time when your class average is 3/10 (or 30/100 scale) and everyone is failing because course is THAT MUCH harder...

I hate math. I suck at it.
why? it's so boring, noone will ever need these things again, plus, our teacher is talking all the time and I never understand what he's talking about, though I really tried it.
I can understand people who like math, but it's just not my thing.
my mum doesn't really care about my marks as long as I don't fail, so I don't have this kind of stress. but I think it's due to the fact I don't really like math that I don't have good grades ^^' makes it also pretty hard to study...

I hated math since I was a kid and hardly ever did well. I used to score around the 50 to 60 region only. Anything more than 60 was a huge bonus for me!

Then again, I am one who was born without being smart or genius at anything I do. But I guess if you practise enough, you might be able to get better?

Maths...such memories it brings back from high school :D

1) i suck at Maths so i have to put in a great deal of work for it by attempting exam type questions regularly
2) its not just about passing the subject - its about passing with a HIGH mark for ALL subjects -__-
3) er...i guess that would be Computing and Human Biology. Although i do like Art but i never picked it as a subject for school.
4) For my Highers i achieved a B grade overall for Maths.

And I still wonder to this day how on Earth i survived through high school.....

1) for the math genius i wanna know how did you guys study...

Take all the notes you possibly can in class, do your homework. I went for tutoring almost everyday so that helped a ton. I bought math practice books and worked on that. Really it's all about practice, and tutorials, homework, and random practice help a lot.

2) does your parents get piss of if you didnt pass your math test?? my mum does!

I've never failed a math test before so they never got angry at me, but I would think they'd be pretty pissed about it.

3) your favourite topic( i don't have a favourite)

In my last year of high school, really the only two topics I hated were probability and permutations/combitnations. Asides from that, all the other tests were quite fun (Quadratics, Conics, Trig, Statistics, Logs).

4) how much do you usually get for your math test? i you usually get 50 to 70...
Quadratics: 88%
Conics: 88%
Logs: 88%
Trig: 90%
Permutaitons/Combinations: 83%
Probability: 71%
Statistics: 100%

All our marks weren't based off of tests and homework completion, there were some quizes that pretty much everybody would always fail coze our teacher made it like 3x harder than the test (even the best kids would often fail). I remember last christas break our teacher gave us an assignment where we had to pick a random picture and use math to graph out every line on the picture and I chose the girl in my avatar. Got 97% on that one. There was also a math camp at the end of the year where our teacher would hold up signs showing a graph equation and we'd have to dance to it wearing math t-shirts...yea lots of reminiscing I just did.(-c-). emoticon

Math is not hard, but there's a lot of bad teachers that doesn't know how to properly teach math and they make us think that it's incredible hard.
And yea I like math it's very interesenting and you can use it in pretty much all the things that exist in the world

Math is annoying. I really don't exactly like it too much. However I can't really complain. It's usually just what kind of math I'm learning.

Math is okay, i wouldn't mind studying math, sometimes i actually having fun doing math (not all the time) but i rather having math test than having History or Chem test, too stressful ><. I'll try to answer some of your question
1. I'm not a math genious so pass
2. I don't really know how they gonna react, i pretty much responsible for my own studying
3. Art, Fashion, Graphic design, music (nothing to do with math here T_T)
4. 75-95 (average T_T)

Well, it kinda depends what 'kind' of math you're doing really. But for the most part, it's not one of my hardest subjects. How I study?? Well umm...I don't really study for math. xD Just, when your teacher is talking, take notes for things you probably won't remember/don't really get/or well, need to know later in the future. Ask questions too. If you don't get something, ask immediately so you can get it later on instead of killing your brain trying to figure it out yourself. [...I do this all the time, for some reason, I just don't like asking questions, I just want to figure out everything myself but yeaaah, don't be like me. @.@] That's pretty much it I guess, oh, and actually pay attention in class if you're not doing it already, it helps. :]

My dad usually says nothing but my mom does . She thinks that i don't study for it _(._.)_ emoticonbut i do.
I like physic ( but not very good at it ), art , music , P.e. (^3^) emoticon
