Konata...Otaku's most loved character
Konata is one of my favorites too. The whole series is basically about her anyhow.
I like the episode where she gets her friends to come along to a Manga convention.
Little do they know that she has their entire day planned.
Now that's how you spend a day.
And what about the ending of some of the episodes. She is a true anime fan it seems, as she enjoys even signing anime songs at a karaoke bar.

Konata = Pure Gold
I have a HUUUUUGE stockpile of Anime/Game/Manga images (No, not Hentai), and I would have to say that most of those come from Lucky Star, and most of those would be mainly Konata...

Well...whenever I watch Lucky Star...I will laugh if I see Konata...most of time...I feel that..Konata resemble me...( well but not so much :p ) our habit sometimes is same...^^

There's just far too many reasons as to why otakus love her I guess, I probably couldn't even begin to scratch the surface of that list of reasons =[
Although I love Kona-chan, I think otakus prefer Kagamin. She won the Saimoe (beating Tsukasa in the final round xD) and her being "tsundere" is definitely more appreciated than Kona-chan's being so otaku, imho.
Anyway, the episode of the Comiket is just awsome, you can't hate her, she's such a nerd :)
And maybe she is more appreciated among not-so-extreme-otakus...

Oh man, even before lucky star came out, i love konata XD i loved the promotional " :3 " video XD the minute i saw that video, i knew right away ... "oh man. this anime is ganna be big lol"

Konata is indeed the goddess of the Otaku. She'll do her best to spend as much time as possible doing everything an anime fanatic enjoys doing the most. Plus she's short like me XD
