What is good or what do you like about Lucky Star?

It's sooo random, but for some reason I enjoy the randomness. It's hilarious and you just wanna watch it. Konata cracks me up more than anyone else.
I am going to take a little bit from a review that I posted on MIniTokyo regarding the series.
First ot all, what's great about this show is the slice-of-life aspect. It's is realistic, and is full of skits all around. I understand that a number viewers may scrunch their eyebrows at the questions the main characters ask, and the discussions that follow, and there are some punchlines that may be dubious to comprehend, but it does not affect the story overall. Different personalities and persuasions balance this show.
Second, I am gaga about the art. The artwork and direction is perhaps what Kagami Yoshimizu would want. The motions of the characters are fluid, and it just feels like the animation is clean from the get go. The details might need to be a bit more improvement, but it isn't not as much an issue because it holds its own.
Third, the opening hymn, "Motteke! Sailor Fuku" is a song that has been played so many times, and danced to so many times, that it is memorable, and characterizes the show. The OP and the show are inseparable, like peas in a pod. Like Konata and Kagami. Some of the background tunes are infectious, that you might tend to hum a few of them when the situation warrants it.
Overall, Lucky Star will either get you hooked, or it won't. If you ask me, it most likely will, regardless of degree, and it's a magnet that I can't get myself pulled away from without tearing my skin. Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, Miyuki, and the other characters of this show are likable, memorable, and are unique in their own, quirky, slackerish ways, and the punchlines can provide a nice laugh or two, or three, or more.
That wraps it for me. Anyone else want to add their two cents on AP regarding LS??

The character is cute, that why i like it and konata is voice by aya hirano
I like the refreshingly laid back approach to the series. There's no commitment in watching it, really, it's entertaining in a very disengaging way.
Of course all the references and nods to otaku culture are deliciously bite-sized candy for the anime fans among us. It's nice to see more of these reference-type series out there these days (like Keroro Gunsou, Hayate the Combat Butler or Genshiken), it's kinda reaffirming to find relatively mainstream entertainment promoting our nerdy preoccupation with cartoons and comics. :3

Good humor! And characters are really cute and funny.
To be utterly blunt, my answer would be Kagami~n. The show feels so great every time I see her on screen doing something. Must be tsundere personality and her voice. XD

At first, the comedy and parodies dragged me into the anime. But the character cast of Lucky star is just too cute too pass up. Although I am a male, I can relate to everything that the girl's of Lucky Star have experienced, thought about, and talked about in terms of topics, neutral gender-based experiences, and peer relationships. Growing up with both girls and boys as friends and family, and having "seemingly" intellectual conversations about how to eat food and more efficient ways of eating something normal. An example is a conversation between my friends and I about eating a hamburger but flipping the hamburger upside down (after reaching the 50% done point) in order to maintain equal size bun area so that when you get to the last bite, the bottom bun isn't smaller than the top bun. (because most of us know, that the bottom jaw does the moving, the slicing, which results in smaller bottom buns/breads/pieces of any large sandwich).
I love the fact that the one who's effectively the main character,
is a total OTAKU...
also, with the exception of Azumanga Daioh and Yotsubato, its possibly the cutest series i've ever seen, not to mention the fact the sheer randomness of the series is incredibly awesome...
...yeah, i'm kinda sad now that it's done, i still want more of it, although i'm looking out for the OVA's

Lucky Star, although it's a slice of life show, is really fun because of the characters, the randomness, and everything that follows with it...
Anyway it's simply cute, funny, and I love the characters a lot
Probably my favorite anime
(Until something better shows up, then it would be one of my favorites)

The thing that makes me interested in watching it is that this anime randomly and continuously take the mick out of the other animes, which make it such a hilarious anime. (but I don't really like the drawing style though...Prefer a little bit more realistic ones)
Lucky Star is a very humorous anime. Simple things make you laugh. The characters even think of the things I often think to myself.
And their conversations are so random that's why it is interesting.
What I dont like about this anime is that there are some events that will make you want some more.

EVERYTHING!
Doesn't it feel wonderful when you "get" one of their references to other anime? One such moment for me was in the episode where that guy goes "MY BACK IS BURNING RED!"---because you know in like Gundam G the main character was always like "MY FIST IS BURNING RED"! Right? RIGHT!?
Okay maybe I just need to get out more.
