What do I like about Lucky Star?
Well, generally I'm drawn to slice-of-life anime in general, but I really enjoy Lucky Star because it's an anime/manga that appreciates its own genre. That looks weird, now that I'm reading that over...
To me, Konata is a refreshing take on the female otaku. I like that her rather male-driven tendencies towards anime and games (and women) are subtle (i.e., well-placed and often funny remarks or comments about moe-ness or ero-games), not brash, rude, or perverted. (Not that I don't appreciate rude or brash or perversion, but it has its own contexts!) I feel a comradeship with Konata, because her humor and interests are attributes I can relate to easily and appreciate. I think I especially likes that she plays an MMORPG!
Also... Miyuki is SO CUTE!!!! I am a rather un-feminine woman, so sometimes its sickening or tough to watch a girl be overly feminine, dainty, or sickeningly cute. But Miyuki somehow pulls off just the right amount of feminism and cuteness and ... I just
her! *sigh* I wish I could be more feminine like Miyuki!
Lucky Star also flows well without having to rely on actual "actions," but rather relying on witty dialogue and often hilarious situations.
And that's all I have to say about that... for now.

I like how we do so many of the things that are mentioned in the series, like the whole talking into the fan thing, hehehe. Also the fact that Konata doesn't have a stereotypical role, it's as if she is an animated version of yourself which is a nice change.
I think that is what is best about the series, that we can all relate ourselves easily to the characters as they go through what we have been through and done, rather than a character that has situations that no one could ever go through.

Konota makes me rofl whenever she talks, the drawings are really interesting, and best intro :P
It's a kind of fun to see an otaku (like konata) doing something that i liked too ^^;;
and the way she thinking is the same as me...^^;

Funny, cute characters. And Kagamin'sxKonata fantasy :s
I only loved it because it was an awesome source of otaku-ism and parody.

Its really unique in how everything is presented. And the humour is simple yet at the same time its executed very naturally. Its not the type of anime that forces some ridiculous acts to try and make an audience laugh. I also like how a lot of things are so relevant to everyday life.

This show was pretty good at the beginning but then it went downhill for me near the middle. No idea why, but I just started hating it. I'd say the opening theme becomes really annoying after a while. Putting that aside, I liked some of the comedy, especially the one guy who tries to sell anime items to Konata and calls her Legendary Girl A.

I love it because it's story is very familiar to us. It is about the school life and I love this style.

I'm half and half on Lucky Star. It’s not a bad show. Impossibly over-hyped, but an entertaining experience nonetheless. Sort of like a Di Gi Charat - Don’t expect to much, check your brain at the door, and you’ll have fun. Here’s my problem though: While it’s not as bad as some say, it’s certainly not as good as others say. An entertaining experience? Sure. An all time classic of the slice-of-life genre? Sorry, but not quite. In a sense, the hype really hurts Lucky Star because, by calling it the best show or best comedy of the year, you compare it to other shows, that, quite frankly, are significantly better than Lucky Star. Shows like Gurren Lagann, Seto no Hanayome, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Potemayo… yet, somehow, Lucky Star is the best show of the season? It might be someone’s favorite show, but you must understand that it is not the best show.
It’s kind of like how I believe Grave of the Fireflies is one of the all-time great animes, but I would not put it in my favorite anime list because I have other shows (FLCL, Azumanga Daioh, Yu Yu Hakusho) that appealed more to me. Lucky Star is an entertaining anime, not a great anime. Especially not when compared to the truly great shows that I have seen as stated above. I only wish that people would understand this difference before crowning Lucky Star, and in the process, continuing to over-hype it. And that is my two cents!

The design and internal jokes.. shakes my stomach so much..
Konata and Kagami.
Aside form that, I like how the show is normal, that it seems they are real people that are just living their live. You can really relate to that characters.
