Why does Every One Seem to like Inu Yasha?

I used to be in love with Inuyasha. It started off pretty strong and pretty well, but now it's just dragging on and I don't like it that much for that reason. It's definitely annoying at times, but it still has a pretty good storyline at times too.
If there ever comes a time where we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I'll stay there forever

I enjoyed inuyasha manga while i was in 2nd-3rd grade, which was pretty young, and got into the anime when i started middle skool. Now, i'm in my 2nd year of high skool and everything has gotten pretty boring, though my best friend is still crazy about the series. lol i don't seem to get any more feeling out of the anime anymore. the inuyasha movies were pretty good, and i bought them all. i would say the fourth and first movies were the best out of everything.
Uuhhh.. the anime laggs like krzy.. but the manga is ok.. i read it when it comes out at borders.. but i also do that with a lot of other ones too =p
Lol i love inuyasha its my passion still not as much as two 3 yrs ago but its a good series dont hate haters!

It's a good show but some of the filler is really not good at all. any series as long as inuyasha will start to wear on you after awhile.
I really don't like it.. it's too long and clingy. There's a billion and 5 episodes and a load of movies with more on the way, and it's still got a load of fans now. People get caught up in the designs more than anything imho, with all the "bishies". And if not that as a reason, it's because they've got someone they can 'bash' throughout and call an airhead (Kagome or Kikyou, you choose) - when all they're really doing is insulting the actual creator's story, claiming a single character ruins it or is a waste of space and airtime - even though they're completely obsessed with it otherwise. x_x
People like that confuse me. It makes me wonder why they're still making the series. There's a constant war between one half of America's fans against the others over which characters are better than the others, and then which are worse than others! What's the point in making such a long series that just deepens rifts between one half of a fandom and the next?
Kinda like with FMA.. just without all of the fighting. Fangirls that are as stupid as the ones in Inuyasha, just less fighting between fans.
I'll stick to less-well-known series, thank you very much. XD

Most poeple like inuyasha because they see it on tv in the crappy english dubs. Just like how soo many people love to watch dragon ball. its a good seriese and all but i hate it when you see idiots who are like do you watch anime and they just answer ya i love dbz

I dunno why everyone likes inuyasha. I personally dont think that its that good of an anime. But then again ive only seen the cartoon network dubbs so i might be wrong. I guess that i might learn to appreciate it if i saw some fansubbs for it.

At first it was good but when he start transforming into a demon, i lost interest to follow the next episode, but since they show it on YTV channel, i watch it when i have nothing to do...

I've read the Inu Yasha manga before but I find it umm... not so nice. Well, I have no comments or either any compliments yet but I sure am not one of their fans.
Sometimes other people got different taste so just live with them (smile) look on the bright side, at least you're not into inu Yasha.
Other than the pictures itself, I think it's the cute story. You never know.

I like it, its one of the main reasons i love anime/manga, sure it has its weak points,but who cares? if you like it.great, watch it, if you dont,ohh well dont watch it. but i still watch it and love it!! never understood why but ive always loved it. :)
I don't like IY, but I'm downloading it for my sister. she Loves Inu Yasha, she has a blog about it. sometimes I watch with her, just because I have nothing better to do.

i think that is sooo true that people only watch IY because it's dubbed. i used to like IY too, but... it got very boring soon enough because it's way too long.
