Shoujo and Shonen
Does anyone see anything wrong about a girl liking Shonen or a guy liking Shoujo?
I know i'm not the only one out there!! I like Shonen too! GundamSeed&GSD, Last Exile, Stellvia are all great! So what about you guys? what do you think?

I'm a guy and i like Shoujo and Shonen. I havent seen very many Shoujo anime but I like Kannaduki no Miko, Cardcaptor Sakura, and 2x2 = Shinobuden. I really like Shoujo because its something you don't see everywhere.
I like both... I don't think anime should expect certain gender viewers.
I agree.. I'm a girl, and I like both. I don't see any reason that girls should only like shoujo, and guys should only like shonen. I never expected that I'd like shoujo, but it's fun to watch/read. Basically, I don't care if it's shonen or shoujo, just as long as it's good =P
I think anime/manga should be above gender views. I know they have their genre classifications, but that doesn't matter at all when it comes down to reading/watching it. I do watch/read some shoujou, but it's not like I seee them as "girls only" titles. If you like it you like it, simple as that.
I like both. there is nothing wrong with guys liking shoujo & boys like shounen. ^_^

I like some shonen animes...like kenshin and DBZ...but i prefer my shojo most of the time :P...like D.N.Angel..X..Angel Sanctuary...etc...my newest fave is Trinity blood...the artwork is awsome ^ ^...and the story is quite intresting

I don't care waht is shoujo only for guys or shoujo for girls only.
i collection them all (manga or anime), so far the story and art is great i don't care even its shoujo :D

There's nothing wrong with it. However, for anyone who wants to be knowledgeable about anime, understanding genre distinctions (and they're very simple!) is pretty important. Just because shoujo's primary target audience is female doesn't mean it's weird if males like it. The opposite is true, and in fact it's often expected... take Gundam Wing, for example. Being a Gundam series, it's shounen. But it also has a very strong and vocal secondary audience of females, and at times the show even pandered to that (with the bishounen-esque character designs and the BL-suggestive official art).
Now that I recall all of the anime I've watched, most of them are shoujo. So yeah, it doesn't really matter... haha.
I'm a girl, but I'm fine with either. I do find myself leaning towards shounen, though. All of my favorite manga are shounen and a few of my favorite anime are too.
Im a guy and i watch both shoujo and shonen. im fine with shoujo as long as its interesting to watch.

Yep! i love both! when i see a guy reading a shoujo in a bookstore, it reminds me of minami ryusuke from the anime beck ^_^...it's not a bad thing though...

i really like that bloody, action stuff a lot, but if theres a good kawai anime such as ccs, i'm the first one to watch it, hehe
