Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

What are some of the most creative and non-creative anime names you have heard of? to me the name is important at first..it it wants to catch my attention.
some of the most creative i think would be:
D.N.Angel because Angel because of the wings which refers to angels and the DN before the Angel makes it DNA which is the reason that Daisuke can turn into Dark his DNA reactions to his love.
Read or Die - Yomiko; Michelle; & Maggie were obsessed with books and were also paper masters & the title read or die feels to me like its referring to reading and their skill to use paper as important.
AIR - i love this 3-letter title because "She is waiting in the air" & since its summerish too me, air is summery. haha. but its kinda random..but it ties into the story.

some uncreative ones:
Inuyasha - i hate when series name it after the main character! its really annoying. >< so you never know if your referring to the character or the series.
Rahxephon - i like this series alot, but the name is kinda blah. its the mech that ayato pilots. ><
MAi HiME - Mai = main character. she = HiME. creative? i think not.

well thats just 3 examples. please give atleast one for each & a reason!

IIRC the title `Read or Die' originally came about because Yomiko literally had to read, else she would die. The Paper Sisters are actually from `Read or Dream' --- the fact that `Read or Die' and `Read or Dream' cross over is why the TV series was called `R.O.D. The TV' (since R.O.D. can potentially be the abbreviation for either series).

I like the title Bleach. At first it doesn't seem to make any sense and appears to be completely unrelated to the manga. But then you realize, it refers to the main character's hair x3

Hmm...
Generally, any anime with the main character's name being the show name seems uncreative to me ^^;
Naruto, Eyeshield 21, Detective Conan and Cardcaptor Sakura are other examples of this ^^
It doesn't make them bad shows though...

Creative:
Honey and Clover- An interesting name that is more symbolic than telling anything about the series
Yakitate!! (Fresh baked) Japan - You can tell this show will be comedic just from the title ^^
I agree and BLEACH and D.N. Angel... :D

It's DNAngel, knowing that A stands for angel but I always thought DN stands for Daisuke Niwa. :o Must just be my imagination though. DNAngel - Daisuki Niwa Angel? It could make sense. :P

Naruto -based off the main character-
Hellsing -based of the organization in the anime-
Trigun -Apparently adding 3 to the word, gun-
Ghost in the Shell -Quite a good name, merely pointing out that things inanimate could posses something so close to a soul-
Bleach -Really have no idea why they named it bleach..-

thats about it..or am off topic already O.o

A title I like is Ragnarok. Why? Because it sounds cool :O Bizenghast is very cool as well. Most titles appeal to me because they sound interesting or it's a title I've never heard of before. These kinds of titles always have a certain ring to them. Angelic Layer is a nice title as well. The word Angelic is so free and pure <3 emoticon Love it. Any titles with Magical Girl, Cat Girl, etc. etc. aren't very appealing to me.

I find that most names that have anything to do with dragons, ninjas, samurai, kung fu, etc. to be quite uncreative. Probably the most 'creative' name would have to be Fooly Kooly hehe ^^

> Ranma - could this serie talk about ramna?

>creative<

3x3 is pronounces Sazan (Southern): the mangaka like the Southern All Stars :p

The Japanese title for `Ghost in the Shell', Koukaku Kidoutai, fall under the unoriginal category too: it is basically a description of what Section 9 is. Appleseed, on the other hand, makes for a more original Shirou title. Bubblegum Crisis is another creative title, and one you need to think about a bit to get.
