Actually, neither is more important than the other.
The diet is important to keep your body's internal functions in balance, and the exercise is to eliminate the excess body fat (Hence the low carb diet). Once you reach your ideal weight, however, you need to modify your diet towards a more balanced one. You must never stop excercising, though, as it helps with keeping your body in shape.
And, believe it or not, Subway does make some of the healthiest, most balanced fast foods you can find.
Oh man, this thread reminds me of how much I need to go back to exercising...

Well haha iono if thats really proven, but I think if you do at least 1 hour of DDR a day, youre bound to lose sumthin..
I also think stress causes you to overeat. So dont stress out and get lots of sleep.

I think that doing a lot of exercise and training is a good think in order to lose some weight. However, it is not sufficient. It seems that exercise with no adequate diet does not cause fat to disapear completely, and at a certain point in time, you may even stop losing weight, because the muscle will become more heavier thanks to exercise and sport.
So a good diet is necessary in addition to sport. However, don't try one of these diets that are published and displayed on magazines and on TV. Go to see a nutrutionist !! Trying out diet that are not fit for you can have the opposite effect expected. They can even harm your health, because they are not adapted to you, and to your physiological needs. If you just stop eating, that's bad too !! So to avoid any kind of problems (again) go to see a specialized doctor :)

Eat three meals a day, with all the food groups. Not in huge ammounts, but still enough so you won't be hungry, but don't ever become full. and excercise Daily, at least a half hour.
You can do exercizes. Like Yoga, pollatiis, or use the eliptical machine. Those things help ya burn fat like so easy [and it feels good to work out] ^^
Do like me, i play videogames for hours and hours, and i forget to eat, when i remember to do it, i eat fast to come back and play some more.

Hmm, you should drink some coffe when you wake up in the morning because it's drains out fluid from the body. Right after that you should take a 40-60 minutes walk or jogging for 20 minutes. Then you should stop eating unnecessary calories. Eat regular, every 3-4 hour is good. Don't eat white bread because it's too much sugar in it (often). Do this for maybe two three weeks and don't exaggerate with anything because you will strain your body and that's not good for you health. You will also lose muscles if you don't eat orderly after you've trained. If you want to go down fast in weight then you can go jogging when you're hungry and then just eat what you need to regain powers, but if you do so then you will probably lose muscles.
If think this works quite well, I've tested it ones and it worked out just fine. So I anyone feels like it then test it out^^

There is no "easy" way to lose weight. You either put forth the commitment to stay healthy and exercise or you sit on a couch eating party size cheesy puffs with a 2 liter of coke. It's no widespread secret that working out and doing cardio exercises reduce the fat in your body and maintain a healthy body, but people out there still think there is a "magic pill" that bypasses all the work and allows them to continue their lazy, or otherwise sedentary lifestyle.
This actually does work, and I can attest to that because games are the big reason why I stayed extremely slim when I was a little kid. I don't actually recommend it, because you can easily abuse this technique, but can be extremely helpful in moderation when trying to conquer food cravings. I don't think I need to you what to eat or drink, as half the replies to this thread have already addressed that.

Well the fat cells dont go away thing is true, if your gonna lose wight then staw away from carbs as much as you can, eatlot of fish and veggies and fruits and stuff like that, fish is better for you then meat because fish fat is easyer to digest and dosnt cause bloodpressure problems and better protine aswell. eat whenever your hungry, but just enough to fill. and eat slowly of course dont rush, cuz when you eat slow you'll realize you'll get full on less food then if you stuff yourself, since it takes time for your brain to realize that your stumoc is full, in that time if you stuff yourself you end up eating alot more.
NEVER EVER starve yourself and tehn eat, because that forces your body into a survival state, inwitch when you finally do eat, everything you consume will be transferd into fat and stored so it will be prepare when you stave yourself again. so you lose a bit of wait at the begining but you will end up gaining more fatcells. hmmm i knew their was something usefull that came out of all them bio classes i;m taking! lol

Diet is only more important than excersize if you eat 3 fatty meals per day + snacks. Honestly, the SMALLEST amount of excersize will burn fat off you.
I'm not saying diet isw irrelevant, it is very important if you eat a lot or your motabolism isn't the best in the world in general.
So yeah, you have to wiegh up a lot of facts when trying to lose wieght, might wanna try eating things that would increase motabolism also.

Heck, one time my friend tried to starve herself to death, only to find with each small portions of salad she ate drastically made her weight go up and down. W(@_@)W I tried to talk sense in her dieting of a mother...
Anyway, the only suggestion I have is eat more proteins and vegetables. Less carbs. More sleep. Work out more.
Never eat before sleeping, there's another one ;P
Wake up as late as possible on a working day so that you are forced to run through your house and maybe even have to cycle real fast to get to your work on time.
