Here is my new wallpaper :

No long speech today, I'm pretty tired -_-
All I can say is that it is a really simple wallpaper I find more beautiful than my other works until now.
The single thing I'm not pretty sure is the lack of contrast in the background. I made it in this way to be icon-friendly. I even deleted a great Magical Talisman I spent 4 hours drawing. But I'm not sure anymore...
A least, if you don't like this voluntary emptiness, I'll listen to all ideas, but I can't promise anything ;)
Thanks a lot :D

I like it so far, that line is great and I lvoe that font. the bg is too simple and i dont think it will
get accepted :(
get accepted :(
This is a good start and I completely understand icon friendly but this is just way too plain to get accepted. I love what you have thus far and the font is absolutely gorgeous and begs me to ask where you got it and what it is called. However the rest of it just looks like a cloud effect with some slight blending at the bottom. Maybe do something with the left space a bit more. Not saying it has to be crowded but just a little something to make it pop a bit more.
Update :
Sorry for not answering. I'm trying to avoid this double post alert thing ^^
So, I remade the talisman I deleted, with some text I found on the web.
I tried another clouds, with some tutorials red-head gave me by PM. I also tried to change the bg's contrast, then tried darker colors. It doesn't look good with the font (@Mimette : dafont.com - Hurricane font ;) ) or with the talisman...
Well, I'm not pretty sure the wall looks better now that it isn't empty any more. I think I can submit it, but is it worth submitting ? :/

Personally I love it now that you have added that back to it. It gives it a bit of spark. I am not sure on submitting it, but if you feel confident with it, is there really any harm in doing so?
LOL, yes, about 100 papers worth ^^ but ManOnDaMoon isn’t exactly strapped for cash so it should be alright =P
I agree with Mimette, the second wall looks much better. My suggestion is a bit of glow to the talisman? Not white glow because that will just blend too much into the rest of the BG but maybe a light purplish glow? It IS meant to be magical so making it look more the part shouldn’t hurt ^^
Other than that, it’s a really good wall, very nice, clean and simple. Even with the talisman, I think it’s still pretty icon friendly so definitely choose the second one over the first version.

OMG, now that I come back from a long rest, I see what has been bugging me the most about that hat ^^ It’s the edge! You could probably get away with the texture on the body of the hat but the parts that stick out on the edge really need some work. Right now, the edges look like they stick out from the hat and then merge. You need to add edges and make one of them come out on top of the other. Argh, I don’t think that came out right. Here, this is what I mean. Hope you don’t mind me messing around with your wallpaper =]
Now, compare the edges of the hat on the left with the right. I just quickly added in some defining edges. Yes, I know its not great but it is sufficient to get my point across: Your hat still needs a bit of work! After that, you can also play around with the shadows to make sections darker than others so it gives them more depth (I tried to do that as well but it’s a bit hard without the layers). Hope that comes out alright ^^
Now, about your clouds. There are three distinct types of clouds in you BG. Well, at least to me it seems like there are three types. The first one is the one on the horizon, the ones that are at the border between the sky and the ocean. The second are the scatter clouds in the sky and the last are the solid clouds up in the top left corner near the sun. The first two look alright together but try to change the last one. The clouds in the top left corner look too solid and 3D compared to the thin drifty clouds that dominate the rest of the BG. Try altering it a bit.
As for the birds, well, personally I like them. They look alright. Cessa mentioned the butterflies and I think I would have to agree. Do they really match the rest of the wallpaper? =/
