My dad knows a few titles but doesn't really read them and my mom doesn't mind what kind fo hobbies i have so both are pretty much fine with it just don't read it.. lol

My brother and cousins read manga. My parents simply cannot understand our obsession with it. To them, manga is just another form of comics and they call anime 'cartoons' --__--;;. Blasphemy! My father complains when my brother and I hog the tv and wathc Animax. My aunt watches anime though, mostly shounen sport ones like Slamdunk and Major.

I think if my parents read manga, it would ruin it for me <,< and i myself would not read it anymore.

I have tried to turn my mother to the dark side of manga's with such titles as Berserk, Battle angel Alita, and a few others. But in the end, she tells me she gets confused with it all, and leaves it alone
