Do your parents read manga?
No, my mom thinks it a wast of time and money. She says its not challenging enough for me, and that they're not real books because they're so short and they have pictures. In my opinion though, manga's have all the same stuff regular books do(characters with realistic personalities, plotlines, etc.) they just have illustrations. My dad...he couldn't care less.
My mom does only if i get them in french though.. because she dosn't know any other languages and my sis well she's just plan weird so she dosen't read them...

Nope, my parents don't read. My mum thinks it's a waste of money when I buy volumes... which I guess is reasonable, due to the overprice of them over here. D:
Manga scares my mother, she's way too politically correct to read it.
My collection of manga is not stuck to a ertain gengre... my mother is a fan of crime stories, and although I have just the thing for her she won't read it, mostly because she thinks it's for kids or because she just has no time. Same for my father, who says he is to old for comics...

No,me and my friends are the only ones I know that read manga,and thats because of four reasons:
1.In this country of mine the only way to get mangas is from the internet..and my parents won't spend time reading manga over the comp. nor will I let them(there's only one comp in the house so...).
2.My parents are kinda old fashioned..they only know how to play Solitaire and Spider Solitaire ~.~"
3.My parents don't speak english...and it takes time to translate the english versions to romanian,and because of the previews reasons I'm not willing to do this.
4.They think mangas and anime in general are for little kids...

Well, some years ago, my sister always watched Sailor Moon and liked the style and all, but she isn't interested in anime and manga anymore. When my mother was still alive, she sometimes read the manga I just bought. She usually thought it was weird, but liked it in a strange way. My dad doesn't like anime or manga at all, but he respects my hobby, though. ^_^

No. my parents don't read it either [probably because i am not asian (i'm mexican)] my mom thinks it stupid that i spend so much money in black and white books but i LOVE it! and i will continue to read manga!! ^.^

No...my parents don't even know that it's called a manga! The call it "japanese comic" XD and they're always saying that i shoudn't spend so much money on those things :P So no, they don't read it and probably never will.
