Do your parents read manga?
My mom read my reccomended manga, she likes animal and sad story and she often read it. Of course if she have spare time.

My parents doesnt like to read manga, for some reason, my dad things the mangas i own are some perverted book...lol

You're NEVER to old to read manga! My mother is turning 57 soon and I got her hooked on Fushigi yuugi both the original and prequel, Inuyasha, Fruits basket, Vampire game, Tramps like us, and a whole lot more! It all depends on your attitude to say if you're too old! ^__^-

HAHAHAHA! I wish :/ My mom thinks its a waste of money, but doesn't mind buying some manga for me from time to time. Shes slowly but surely getting into the mix alittle, will sit and listen to me rant about bad american dubs, and what volumes I intend to buy next. She even doesn't mind driving my friends and I down to our local anime store, or Barnes & Noble. But I'm glad she doesn't read manga, that would be alittle weird, my mom borrowing my books O.o

My father used to read comics, but not nowadays. My mum never wanted to try reading manga, and my brothers hate books too much so I'm the only one in my family who actually read them. Pity, manga is so great!

Yeah.......my mom used to read it alot when she was little...... and my dad was always yelled at me for reading it all the time...... one day my dad was SO bored he saw my Detective Conan comic book lying around... he began to read it and got hooked... hahahhaa.... now he yell at me less >< hahahahha... how nice huh?
No, my parents don't read manga, but my mum prefers to look at the animes with TV.
Nah... I think they'll never read any manga. They know what it is but they just think that it's too unrealistic. For them, reading manga is....quite a waste of time.

No, they doesn´t read manga. I hope the did, but that´s not the truth. I read m anga and I actually feel very happy if I could read manga with them and then speak about it.

I can imagine my mother reading a manga... not as that she si interested in that, but just so... time by time... But in Lithuania, were I am living, we don't have manga in stores. In fact the anime and manga aren't popular here. The only comic book there is that somehow resemble manga is "W.i.t.c.h.". So that's why I live in internet!

Haha my parents know about my collection and they think I'll be able to gain a fortune off selling my collection in the future, but with the way publishing companies can easily reprint them, I highly doubt so. Anyway they think it should be about time that I outgrew mangas and anime. They are both business people and somehow they don't appreciate art like I do. :/ They don't really say much about it though.
Manga, anime to my parents its all cartoons thus they prefer to ignore it.
