How does your friends feel about mangas?
Some of my friends thinks manga is just childish cartoons read backwards while others loves manga the same way i do.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!
My two best freinds love mangas thats why we're freinds.. the rest of our school that knows us they laught at us just because we like it...

Some of my friends love one particular manga, DeathNote. ^^
Most of my friends like manga. Eventhough there're some who don't like it and think that manga is only for children, then I'll start to 'poisoning' them with some good manga and the result is they got hooked on manga and ask me if there're other kinds of manga as interesting as the one they've read and I'll just say, "Who said that manga is only for children?" Then they blushed =)
Most of them are mania, more mania than me (I think) Some of them are real otakus that snap up every kind of manga in the bookstore. And also have a regular schedule for downloading manga scans.
So the point is that most of my friends are just the same like me (although I'm not a real otaku yet xP)

Two of my friends like anime/ manga but the rest of my friends hate it or just don´t really know what it is and they dosen´t care either.

Pretty much all of my friends read manga or watch anime, so it's not a strange thing. Most of my classmates don't understand this very fun 'obsession' of mine though.
I have to say. i have been converted into an anime/manga freak by some of my friends. i think its great reading mangas and all, but some of my other friends dont necessarily agree with my opinion. its more like, they are not into such things as i am. but i have to admit, one year ago i was also the same kind of person - i didnt really find anything interesting in "anime" and "manga". but all thay have changed now. i tried to convert my other friends so they can also become "one of us" but theyre not really into these kind of stuff. i made one of my friend read a manga, but she didnt really find it interesting.
Only a few of my friends enjoy reading manga. I've introduced some people to it, but most of my friends don't read manga (or watch anime). But I guess they accept the fact that I read manga. =P
Well i don't have that much friends that like animes..talk about manga...but the little I have are just like me..if they liked the anime series they read the manga too...like a real Otaku ^.^.

My friends pretty much range everywhere on the spectrum. I have some friends who are into it, some who grew out of it, some who don't understand it, some who watch it occasionally. We all get along just fine, and I do try and get my friends into some series sometimes. Most of the time they'll think it's interesting, but they'll most likely never read it unless I keep reminding them. ^^
Mmmh... I suppose that my case is the common one... I've got some friends who HATE it, and not only think it's a childish hobby but a stupid one and that I should grow up; some others have asked me and I've lend them some manga or anime and they have liked them though they aren't no otaku, but... anyways, at least they can stand my likes ^^U; and finally I've got some friends whom I have known due to manga and anime, through conventions, forums, associations, and internet in general, and obviously they are with me everytime some activity related to manga and anime is done! ñ3ñ

I can see that I'm lucky here ^^ most of my friends like mangas, there is just a minority who doesn't care about it, but one ( I know ) hate mangas, I think that they can understand us when we say that we love it :P It's just a hobby like any other !
My friends think that i'm too immature to read manga or watch anime or collect gundams or play ps2(at my age i'm 27) but i just love reading and watching since i was a kid. acutally it's my girl friends that think i'm too weird... as for my guy friends... we are all kids at heart. but personally, i don't really care what they think... and over the years most of my true friends just came to accept the fact the i like reading manga and they respect me for it. and sometimes when they ask me for advice in life and they think i'm so smart... they ask where do i get my quotes... i just simply tell them i read it once in a manga or got it from an anime! hehehe the shock in their faces! no wonder they accept me right now!
Most of my friends don't even care about what manga is...but i've already turned 4 of them into manga lovers! :D
