This is my feeling about the anime and the manga of SR
The manga of School Rumble hasn’t finished,and so far it has issued 14 volumes or more.
I have read all its manga that has been issued so far but I think it is quite boring,and the anime of it is contraly very interesting. I can sure that the manga of School Rumble is not worthy bought at all,while the anime should be bought as one of your collection. My words is not exaggerated,if you haven’t watched its anime,it is certain that you will be suspicious of my words.Once you have watched the anime,you will find its manga quite boring and its drawn art is so bad.
What I can’t put up with is the drawn art of its manga,I think it is one of the worst manga I have read.the characters are drawn at random and the scene is bad, I can’t imagine why the anime of it is quite interesting and well drawn while the manga is so````

Well as opposed to your view about the manga, I really like both the manga and the series. What I'm after is the story; next to it is how the story is presented art-wise. I think you and I, as well as all SR fans, will agree that SR plot is really fun and interesting to follow; that alone is enough to make me like the manga and the series.
Though I have the first few volumes, I'm yet to buy the later volumes of the manga so I can't compare and all I can say is the art for the first few volumes is decent enough; I don't know if it deteriorated or something. I think it is also understandable that it is easier to portray all sorts of action in anime than in manga maybe this where the discrepancy lies.

I watched the anime first and I liked it. Funniest anime I've ever seen. And I would never get tired of watching it over and over again. The story plot is very interesting. I bought the first three volumes of SR manga and read them. The manga may not be as good as the anime but I still enjoy reading it. When I read it, it would reminds me of the anime, so it would be like watching the anime as I read the manga. Another reason I bought the manga would be since I am a fan of SR, so I bought it as for the collections.

I have only leafed through the first manga volume so I have yet to form a solid opinion about it. On the other hand, once I though there could not be an anime as funny as Azumanga then I watched School Rumble and was totally hooked. Beside the anime series messes with your head with the last episode of the first season.

I havent read the MANGA, but i LIKE the anime much... >_<
my friend saying the manga is hard to understand.. and in the anime we can hear the voice of all characters.. thats why its more interesting i think.. :D
But if azumanga.. i dont know why i prefer the 4 squared comic / 4 koma.. :)

School Rumble is one of the hilarous manga i've ever read. It has some interesting elements in it. Romance and comedy in school life.
I think the best part of this manga is when they play "shooting game" in the school.
But in the manga, there's no such a great event story or something to that effects. Every chapter is sometimes doesn't have connection.
This manga is interesting at how they explain every characters, and story of them.

I have watched the 2 seasons of the TV series.And now I'm beginning on the Manga as I want to konw the development of the story.Yes I don't really like the drawn art of the Manga neither but still find it funny to read.Actually there're so many examples that Anime is better drawn than its original Manga.So I don't think it's very important.

Hehe, i like School Rumble! I have not yet seen the anime series, but i have read the manga, and i must say that i got a laugh out of reading it! Very funny storyline and the art was good too! It is funny seeing Harima's desperate attempts at winning the love of Tenma, and experiencing problems on the way!

I am currently following Del Rey's release of School Rumble, and am thoroughly enjoying it. Probably my favorite comedy at the moment aside from Nerima Daikon Brothers and Paniponi Dash. I love poor Harima's attempts and failures at nabbing Tenma, especially when they involve accidentally doing something to Eri. Of course, the misadventures of the others is also great.

I read the manga at frist ~ but when i watched the first reason of anime i be entranced with it ~and the second reason is soso
