This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

It's Toaru Majutsu no Index. It's pretty popular,it's just airing now, and it's only had 13 episodes come out and it already has 4 wallpapers.

If there's one thing that drives me nuts sometimes is waiting for manga. Since I order from the net due to the lack of availability where I live (also cause I want the manga in english) the waiting for it to get delivered to my country is horrible, especially cause you know it's on the way. Or how about the times you're waiting for the coming tankaboun of a manga, yet no matter how much you wait it never seems to come out, makes me wonder why I am a fan of manga in the end XD How about you people out there? How do you feel about waiting for manga? Is it horrible, or are you just stunningly patient when it comes to manga?

I cut myself to make time go by faster.

Seriously though, if you are reading manga and you aren't used to waiting, you should probably move on to something else. Maybe you could start reading actual books or something. I don't know just a suggestion.

To those of you who are reading Elfien Lied, you should definately know the meaning of waiting. The project has gone 4 months without a release and now we finally see some life again. I guess the bottom line is just to deal with it. Wait, rejoice, and then wait some more.

I've never experienced the feeling, since usually, I just go to Kinokuniya and buy the latest volume.

What I hate is waiting for the next volume to be released, since I don't buy "telephone book" manga magazines, because...I don't read everything in them, and it's a pain, and it's really expensive XD

It depends on how much I like the manga. If I really like it then it feels like forever until it comes out. If I like o.k. then it's not so bad waiting for the next one to come out.

Actually, now is the first time I've ever had to wait for manga. So far I've read finished series or ones that I'm way behind on. I'm waiting for the last volume of Genshiken now...I'm doing okay with that wait because then I just buy Negima! and FMA.

Unfortunately, my very favorite manga title (Ai Yori Aoshi) gets the most horrible delays between each volume, and the waiting is extremely painful... and considering that I must wait until my local comic store imports it, the situation gets way worse :/

Same thing for other titles by small publishers... like the Tsukihime manga. It's been months and I haven't seen new volumes at Previews and stuff.

I know what you mean. I hate waiting for the next volume of a manga to see what happens next, especially when the previous volume ended on a cliffhanger! I can only suggest that you try to keep busy while you are waiting. What I find is even worse is when the series is stopped partway through for some reason like Steel Angel Kurumi seems to have been!

Personnaly, I read the weekly chapters of about 10 series or so, without counting the monthly, so it's almost like a whole manga by week, but still, It's not enough! I haven't finish reading that already I wish it was one week later so I could know what's going to happens next.

Oh cheese..tell me about it!
Waiting is horrible, I hate the words " to be continued " or cliffhangers! I know you have to have patience but I 'm just one of those people who doesn't get along with that word. I have two brothers that drive me up the wall and is slowly driving any patiences that i have to the-land-that-never-was! I do read other stuff to like other mangas just for fillers but I end you waiting for them too (-_-); emoticon The more I like the manga the more I feel like I have waited.

I am gonna find the person who invented waiting and stick him in an oven and tell him to wait patiently while I slowly roast him like a turkey (>_<)9 emoticon

I hate waiting! I'll check websites and mark my calendar! That's why I read/buy tons of different series so I have something to read all the time. I do read novels, but those just aren't exciting. When the book is finished, it's finished. I have nothing to look forward to anymore. Yay for manga!

I read multiple titles at the same time so while i'm waiting for one, i'm reading another it's a good idea especially if the release dates are at different times and not in the same month. I can always just do something else of course.. like play guitar.. or read a novel.

can always download scanlated versions too you know.. i mean if they are available before the official releases.. that is

To hard to wait for manga, i cant stand it...Like I read one and then I got to wait like 2-3 months for the new Vol. to come out, and the same thing happens again...But if you play Dota and just look at anime the whole time, time will fly by...

Even though I don't like waiting for new manga, there's nothing I can do to speed up the process. I can only patiently wait and hope time will pass by quickly.
