I just wanted to know if anyone other then myself like this series? sure theres lots of fansevice in it, but its kinda of cute, in some ways. its one of the newer mangas that caught my attention, and yes the girls are drawn beautifully XP , though the only thing holding it back for me is its slow releases, about 3 months per book issue, kind of a long wait... =\ ... still its a good one to check out and see if you like it for yourself.

I liked it but not enough to buy it. I think the group I was getting it from is still scanlating it, too...

Really? i don't know ... to me it was like chobits and i somehow i think DearS is abit more adult ...not that thats a bad thing...but it was like an adult verison of chobits...pretty funny and the drawings are still drawn very well.

I actually liked DearS more than I did Chobits. I found it much prettier, and funnier. Also the Main male character isn't the typical loser that gets the girls (though I still like those types of characters, its still nice to see a change). I hate how its a long wait too, but at least relreases aren't years apart like Evangelion.
Lol DearS is drawn more appealing to the male gender i'll admit that chobits...and the fact that the storyline still has abit of a mystery to it as we don't know why rei considers herself tak's "slave"...its going to be interesting when its revealed...i just hoped they release them quicker...sigh*

I didint read the manga just saw the anime it' really funny, but there's a little ressemblance with chobits i think

dars i think is funnier than chobits, partly because of the insane teacher, she's hilarious.
I think DearS is the best still and is very funny. must buy
