Although manga is pretty cool I rather prefer the movement and color of anime. Take Bleach for example. The books are exactly the same as the episodes, but the episodes are better because of their totally awesome effects. Plus the episodes leave you hanging.

For me, I prefer Anime, because one feels well more the episode (for example musiques) but them if not, it is true that there is often difference between the mangas and anime them, of the kind Love Hina where I did not really like anime it but that I adored the mangas. But good, as a whole I prefere anime them (same if they spend time has to leave ^^)

Depends on the manga, and it depends on the anime. There are classic mangas (berserk, angel sanctuaries), and classic animes (utena NGE).

I like to read shoujo manga I mean the romance and drama are better to read it in manga than the anime but if you mean like naruto , bleach , fullmetal alchemist well, something action I prefer the anime to see the effects and other things!! and it's more intresting!

I like anime better...cuz i take less time...and less work for me, cuz i hate reading...

I think it all depends on the anime, the quality of the story and the animation; and likewise with manga. Not all manga is better than anime, and vice versa. However, my experience with manga is you have a better experience when it really is good... the reader can be drawn in much better. I suppose it's the exact same as reading a book. Being engulfed in your imagination can be far superior to a depiction on the screen. Then again... Oh I don't know!

Manga is good in its own way. Anime is somtimes better cuz you get to see it with action and all the scenes are animated for you rather than playing it out in your mind.

hrrmm depends. manga usually are easier to read, hey, i mean you can read it in 10 minutes time (per chapter) where as.. when i watch anime, i tend to get late for my classes =.= cos it drags me about 30 minutes per episode. Yeah, so sometimes i prefer manga, besides it has a far more greater art and story line, you dont need to worry it'll be cut at episode 26, like others anime do...

But for action like bleach and gundam seed, I personally prefer anime, it gives more impact and joy to watching it.

in my humble opinion, i can say i like better if all work is in anime. but i cannot deny the fact that i also like manga, though i do not collect them.

i like anime because it has color, it has voice, it has music, basically it has more life than manga. only thing is that anime tends to get badly drawn at times, especially on episodes that are considered sidetrips to the story.

on the other hand, i also like manga because it is more complete that the released tv series of a particular title. some manga even have better story than that of the tv release, when it comes to variations that is.

i only own 3 scanlations: namely Love Hina, Card Captor Sakura and I's. these manga kept me busy for a while. i remember reading 1 volume a day in one sitting after i'm done with homework. then to bed i go.

now that i am working, i cannot find the time to download and read scanlations anymore. instead, i collect fan-subbed anime. and here, i buy them. yes i buy them! just my token of appreciation for all those fan-subbers out there who do a pretty good job conveying anime to non-japanese speakers...

overall, i like manga because of the completeness of the story. i like anime because of life added to the manga. there's no telling which one i prefer over the other... =)

I'll have to say manga.

I perfer which ever one is done better. for instance, the get backers manga is good, the anime is bad. gundam seed good, the manga, bad(IMO) so it all depends upon it... but i ... wait actually i cant say i prefer any one of them, i like them both equily =D

I just like the two, the manga shows you(in the most times) the real story of the anime, with somethings that don't appear on the anime, and i can still read it at any time, but the anime have more action and you can get details of movements, well, let's just say that i'm crazy for everything that has some link with animes ^^

Some animes are better than manga .some manga are better than animes . I like anime better because of its vividness.
