Okay, I'm gonna be an ass and say this: I'M ALL THE WAY WITH ABORTION.

Nah, seriously, I think it depends, like everything else. Some girls DO have consensual sex irresponsibly and end up pregnant... Okay these girls should get beat the crap out of them (metaforically of course ^^U) because they probably didn't use any kind of protection or used it incorrectly (or so on). but how about those women who got raped? It certainly wasn't their fault getting pregnant...

Adoption is a sure possibility, but usually families find a very significant connection through blood, I'm sure giving up a baby is hard... Besides there are LOTS or children who are just waiting in orphanages to get adopted... and never do.

So in short i'm in this place:
1- Abortion should be accessible and not restrained to ALL cases by a law.
2- There should be consideration for both the baby and the mother if no abortion is done (or it's going to be done)

Of course, considering each case separately is quite a task, more like impossible... Oh well, nothing is perfect, but I think abortion should be accessible to the community, whether we like it or not.

I would have to say, you cant go all the way with abortion... because it will be taken as the next birth control... that is how some religious organisations see it... and it isnt like it is not harming things... if it is done correctly in the begining you can kill a baby before it is really termed as a baby ... but not many abortions actually kill them off early... it is later when the mother feels depressed... pluss... abstinance ... condoms... birth controll pills... there safer and not forward to killing, just preventing... there is a difference...
if you roll a glass ball off a table and it shatters, if you caught it before it shattered you prevented it... but if it hit the ground and shattered it still happened.. but what are you going to do, glue it back together, it wont be the same.
abortion isnt the safest thing out there either... it can hurt the person...
but i do agree that it should be legal in some sense only to the fact as i said before that girls very depressed girls that is... want to get rid of it so badly they do it themselves and mutilate their body...
that would be the only thing i would want to prevent... and the cases where its incestual or STD oriented and the girl cant pay for it, or the foster home wont pay for the kid to live ... and he has to suffer with the disease or mental dissabilities...
but i wouldnt wait untill you figured out if it had them or not... if it isnt a man you love or if its your father !!?!?!?! get rid of it.. and if your father has a drinking problem and this might happen get birth controll pills... they work what.. 98 precent of the time...
it saves you the hastle of everything...
instead of pro abortion to everything and the new birth controll... might as well utilize the existing birth controll methods

Pro life and Pro choice labels are quite funny. Those labels give the idea that a person who is not pro life would be pro choice or vice versa.

It is quite a stress to have to raise a child so I think if someone does not want to raise one, better not to. It would be far worse if they ahd a child and had to put it thru a awful childhood or send it to foster parents where it again has an awful childhood. Grows up hating life and ends up becoming some crazy mad killer.

You are stupid, if a girl gets pregnet, it is her body. I don't see how it's not, it's her choice and no one els should have the right to tell her what to do with her own body. I do not think the father has any rights to tell a woman to have a baby because half of it is his, I think the father should have the right to say he does not want to deal with the baby if the woman decides to have the child. I don't think men should be forced to be fathers, woman are not forced to be mothers, they can have an abortion if they want, I don't think it's fair, but whatever I guess this world is not fair.

It just means it took two people to make a child, nothing more. Some want the man to have a choice in the situation, and some like as the woman's choice, but whatever is the case, as it stands, the woman makes the choice. It is her body afterall.

I think no one usderstood my point for this thread... point was... in what moment do you call it an abortion.. if the ovum its fertilize and its become a zigote and you kill the zigote is that abortion?.. but how could this be an abortion if its only 2 cells but then it becomes a morula and you kill the morula, is that abortion now??.. or as i already said in the begin, blood = life, so you could make an abortion before the 3rd week (in the 3rd week the heart starts to beat so the blood starts to circulate all over the body) but you didn't aborte because it wasn't alive anyway... so when you can call it an abortion??.. well i think it doesn't matter anymore.. post whatever you want about abortion.

Abortion sometimes has to be done for the health for the mother.. for example an ectopic pregnancy, the baby or the mother have to died.. or they have to kill the baby anyway because the baby is going to die anyway. And mother can choose also aborte her baby if the baby has a genetic (usually its genetic or mutant or whatever) desease that is going to kill him/her anyway after born.. for example anencephaly, the baby is going to die anyway because noone can survive with almost no brain.

If some teenage girl decides to have premarrital sex, that is there own choice and if they get pregnet I belive it is in there own rights to have an abortion, I don't think ANYONE has the right to tell another person how they should live there life.

I kind of agree, because sometimes, the baby may be born in to a poor family and may have to suffer which may even led to death. To suffer is much worse then instant death. But then again, the quote earlier about the baby being president or cure for aids. Well, this probably may depend on the point of view. But i still think it's the right for a women to abort, if they think it's so terrible, then let them not abort. Let others who want to do so.

I for one don't really care. i think that people have the right to choose if they want to have a abortion or not. they are the ones having the baby after all, so other people shouldn't have the right to tell them what to do. it's none of their business.

That question is inappropriate. You have to consider that the anti-abortion people would want to save a life from being unrightfully killed. They consider it to be unlawful, but the question you pose is merely a enviromental situation.

I don't think it's inappropriate a life's a life. youre saying it's ok to starve to death but it's wrong to have abortions cause a life is being unrightfully killed. that's not fair.

my mom had a abortion. can't say i was happy, but who am i to say if it's wrong or not, cause it's not for anyone to say. it was my mom's baby and it was her decision and i support her. why should other people care, it's not like it's their baby.
