If you don't include religion in this argument, you have human or society's morals as the main opponent. However I am concerned to how far things will go if the government has control of the body of a person. Are you suggesting that once the egg is fertilized, the mother is no longer in full control of her own body? Taking this to a federal level is just too much. This should not effect an entire community or anyone outside one's household. I stand firm in my position for free choice, but would once again say that I don't really approve of abortions after a certain time in the development.
