Hello everyone ^_^

What happens to us after we die? A hot topic for discussion if ever there was one. People have been going around with this one sense sometime way, way back down the road of human existence that no one alive now can tell us about. ~ Another plane of existence? Karma and reincarnation? Any of a hundred heavens and hells? Decomposition and nothingness? Ghosts? I for one don't know. All I know is that death will not be the end of me. That's my stance, care let me (and a bunch of other AP members) know about yours?

You can let us know about your beliefs, or any theories you may have. What you've been taught, what you don't believe is true. Do you think we've only got the time we've got, no more no less? tell us why. Think you may have just figured this whole thing out and found that one answer that is actually true? please let the rest of us in on your revelation.

(Now, some of you may ask: why has August199 started this topic of conversation up? Well, to be totally honest, the reason is that I saw in the shoutbox that forums where getting rather dull (I don't like dullness, it's just to boring for me). One member, SakuraDragnangel, said she hoped someone would start something interesting. So I thought to myself "what would be interesting?" keep it basic, something everyone can relate to. The idea just came to me and I myself was curious to hear what others had to say about it. So I figured: why not give it a try and see what happens? Hopefully it will be an interesting discussion ^_^ )

As much as I would like to believe in reincarnation, I doubt that's what happens :(. After we die, our bodies turn back to the dust from which we came from :(. Sad sad

No, no, you got it all wrong. You turn into a cow! O.O seriously. At least, that's what my Hindu friend told me...I think he was pulling my leg though... x.x Personally I think we all go to the same universal neutral place, like a realm of the dead, so that when the universe collapses in on itself and Big Bangs again we can become the new life forms. And that our position in this next universe depends on how good or evil we were in this one, this whole affair of course being a cycle that repeats over and over for all eternity. At the moment we are caught in one of these loops. O.o

Where do we go when we died? Wow...Nice topic....Ummm....If that's me...I believe if there are heaven and hell...I think after we died....We go through on of them...We will get eternal life and peace at heaven...We will get eternal suffer at hell...Beside, I also belive in reincarnation.....But, ieuhhh...evnthough I believe at those things...I still afraid if we die.... >.<

I believe in heaven (since i'm catholic and all) but I also believe in reincarnation. I believe either a) when people die, they go to heaven or b) they are reincarnated into another human or animal (sinners for animal and non-sinner for human). However, I do not believe that people can go to hell unless you're the demon because everybody's a sinner. God's not perfect either (no offense to religious catholics). Since everyone's technically a sinner, everyone would have to go to hell. And I don't think that's possible. However, here's a more interesting fact: ghosts. After watching those ghost movies and "real ghost stories" on television, I honestly think that there's no such thing as ghosts because what are their purposes? Why are they still here? Some people say to scare people or to take care of some unfinished business but I think it's because some people are delusional and they think too much of what they see, hear or taste. Speaking of which, after you die, living as a ghost would be pretty sad.

Where do we go when we died? let me think of it...i dont really believe heel or heaven actually, if we die, we go to some place where we will go to incarnate again, and again, and again,uh...i kinda believe with karma actually, if we good maybe we will incarnate to person again, if not maybe animal or something like that...\
why i dont believe heaven and hell?coz i think a person, how bad is he/she, they ALWAYS have a good side too...even a little...so its not fair if he/she go to hell, coz i know God is kind, a little deed...smaaaallllll...or big, its the same...so thats what i think...

heaven or hell, its just a feeling we feel right now... if we mad, angry, or sumething like that, its feel like hell, but if our feeling good, happy or sumething like that, its feel like heaven...dont you think?

I don't know, it's too hard to know, considering the amount of religions in the world you can never be sure. I don't really worry about stuff like that until the time is near. I look forward to the next day and nothing more unless I'm looking forward to it.

There are 2 possibilities: Heaven & Hell. Good people go to heaven, bad people go to Hell. No one knows where they will go to exept God. if reincarnation..since I'm a Muslim, I think there's no. :(

Well that a question there but ...what i think is ...
that the place where you go or how you end up is
whether in what ya believ in it or not...
cus if you want to believ that there is something beyond
this life than thats it for you...
personely i believ a bit in reincarnation and that
heaven and hell thing ...
but you must wonder when did al this believing start in
the past...
maybe if ya believ you will feel a bit stronger on this
world... or maybe that you will live on...or momething
... ...

I like to believe that exists something like a LIFESTREAM (too much FF :P), life it's recycled to another being... and your knowledge just get scatter... that's one of my theories... I hope there isn't a hell... sometimes I really get worried about it...

I don't believe in a heaven or hell or reincarnation or any of that stuff. I think we will just be rotting corpses that stop thinking. I'm hoping ghosts are real though. I want to taunt little kids after I die.
